This is the final printmaking assignment I made at school this semester. This still life is based on how my cooking skills have changed over the last few years. The food and condiments here are what I've mostly used to improve my cooking skills.

I made another version of this print using black ink. I really like how it looks, so I want to show it here too.

I made a multi-block print a couple of months ago, but I wasn't happy with it. I wanted to try it again and used this form of printing with this project. I'm much happier with how it looks here.

The American kestrel (or sparrowhawk) isn't the only bird that can hover in place in midair, but it's always the most striking to see. During the summer months in particular, it becomes somewhat common to look up and see a kestrel hovering overhead, watching the ground below for any tasty mice or grasshoppers moving about.

Some little experiments with linocut printing.

Composition #4, one of my woodcut prints that I’ve made. Made by carving a design on wood and running it under a press to transfer the ink onto the paper. The design is based off Mount Pleasant station in Ontario Canada.
