The problem with regarding Supernatural as the Gadreel show is that you have an eight seasons long prologue during which the main character never once shows up, and then a season where everything is him and he's still onscreen for maybe a fraction of the deal, and then ending is a bunch of bullshit, and the epilogue will go on for at least one season more with little hope of anyone referring to the actual topic again.
I keep thinking I kind of want to watch Supernatural but then I realise it'd feel very empty, and I probably wouldn't be able to stop thinking how Gadreel's in that dungeon right now getting tortured by Thaddeus, so that kind of kills my motivation to set the disc in the tray in the first place.
