Ever since she was born, Hazel Elise Berry has relished in the life of a nerd. She knows and accepts it. A four-eyed, Marvel loving, comic book reading, pizza stuff facing kind of gal. Comic books and superheroes are her life. Hazel was that one kid that would always sit in the back of the class pretending to follow along in the text book but in reality she was hiding a comic book in front of it and reading it. She has always been confident and outspoken, and manages to be social without dealing with the pressure of the social ladder. Hazel is fine just being herself, and lucky thing is most people just genuinely like her. When it comes to her family, she is protective of her siblings. No question about it. She will go to hell and back for her siblings. A dreamer, she spent all her time wondering what life would be like in the future. Hazel spends more time daydreaming then she does being conscious of the real world, mostly because she finds herself without something grounding her. An anchor if you will. The only ever time she feels grounded is when she has a paintbrush or pencil in her hand.

She’s always been an creative artist. From painting the walls in her bedroom to sculpting different pieces of art. More specifically, Hazel draws a lot of focus on drawing, sticking to drawing comic books or whatever else that comes to mind. It’s been her life ever since she enrolled into Pacific “Privilege” State. A lot of what you might want to know about her can be told through her art, or her panels that she draws. Another thing to note is that a lot of what Hazel draws is taken from real life. Don’t be surprised if you see her from across campus, looking up now and again to draw you perfectly. Aside from art, Hazel has always had an interest in books and movies. At a young age, all she wanted to do was stampede off to the nearest library and toss her grabby hands up at books she was too tiny to reach. Her thirst for knowledge has always been something she thrived to quench, which was why she enjoyed school as much as she did. Hazel idolizes Audrey Hepburn, and uses her films as guidelines for her life. Her favorite of Hepburn’s is Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Ever since she was a little girl, she’s been obsessed with the golden age of Hollywood. She loves reading books on film history and biographies of her favorite stars. She considers herself to be a walking film encyclopedia, and will gladly talk your ear off about movies.

One thing you should know, Hazel takes her education rather seriously and making sure to keep up on her school work. She wants to make her dads proud and show them that she can live a balanced life, though it has been known to crack down on her from time to time. Hazel is not the greatest at handling an overload amount of stress. One thing to add onto her persona, she isn’t one of those types who likes letting people down or doesn’t do what she believes is her personal best. Hazel is an artist with a protective nature and she has a bit of a temper, which becomes worse with stress and fear. Hazel can be a bit blunt sometimes. She doesn’t mean to be that way but she just is. She sugar coats nothing, she likes to tell it as it is. Moving onto the next slide, relationships. As far as dating goes, Hazel is a flirt. She has no shame in admitting it either, because when she feels attracted to someone, she openly expresses it. She’s somewhat of a romantic, even if she doesn’t need some public display of affection to have feelings for another person. She loves communication, and that’s the key thing she looks for in others, relationship or otherwise. Hazel believes there’s a clear cut difference between flirting and dating, and she would never continue her flirtatious and bubbly personality with more than one person when a strong connection was there with one person. She knows what she wants, and when she figures it out, there’s nothing that can really stop her from trying to get it.

BABY, THERE'S NO OTHER SUPERSTAR

At 5'2", sporting long brown hair, Hazel has both of her ears pierced and currently has four mini tattoos. A tattoo of a dog’s paw prints on the left side of her ribcage (in memory of her dog Freddie that passed away), a Harry Potter saying on the left side of her wrist that says “Lumos”, a tattoo of a tiny sun and moon in the middle of her back. Most recently, Hazel got one of her favorite quotes tattooed underneath her right breast. On her left middle finger, she has a scar as a result from burning herself with a curling iron. Her fashion sense varies from however she’s feeling on that particular day. One day, she can be see wearing a high-waisted skirt paired with a nice blouse. Hair nicely curled, a full face beat to the makeup gods. On a different day, it’s as if she climbed straight out of bed. Dressed in leggings, either an old t-shirt or a fannel, her hair pulled back into a messy bun, and wearing glasses rather than her contact lenses. As long as she’s comfortable with what she’s got on, that’s all that matters to Hazel.

YOU KNOW THAT I'LL BE YOUR PAPARAZZI

The Berry family have had their name in lights for as long as anyone could possibly remember. Cynthia Franklin, the Berry’s grandmother, was a legend in the acting industry. She was devoted to the screen, and worked under names like Alfred Hitchcock and Frank Capra. She was also notably known for her many love affairs on the sets of her feature films; her most significant being with Gerald Berry, a up and coming screenwriter. They were married not long after they met, and ended up spending a beautiful life together. They had a son - Hiram - and he spent most of his childhood living in hotel rooms and spending summer days in trailers and in studio sets. A Hollywood career was set in stone for him, but he gravitated towards being behind the scenes. Leroy Berry (nee. Washington) is a notable fashion designer who is based LA and mostly known for his styles of wedding dresses. Their biological mother, Shelby Corcoran, is a model that worked with Leroy in the beginning of his career and volunteered to be their surrogate.
