A very clever 1970s comedian
A list of criticisms of every Fallout Game
Because people apparently think I only have issues with 3
Fallout 1
• Even compared to other games of the time, the mechanics are clunky and outdated
• You have no idea how to talk down the Master and are given no hints, you have to actively dig for it. This should at least be hinted at
• The time limit makes exploration, at least in the first act of the game, impossible
Fallout 2
• You have to kill Frank Horrigan head-on instead of being able to either talk him down or take him out in a different way, which is really hard even with help
• There are skill checks WAY over 100 which seem to just come out of nowhere
• The intro sucks and is super repetitive after 2 or 3 play throughs
Fallout Tactics
• I hate this game. It is just awful
• Just so bad holy crap
• Not cannon so I don’t have to think about it
Fallout Brotherhood of Steel
• This game has no right to exist, it’s somehow worse then Tactics
• I played it for 2 hours and it doesn’t deserve to count as a game, let alone a Fallout game
• Also not cannon (thank Godd)
Fallout 3
• The story is super railroad-y and there are basically no choices to be made
• No moral depth to any decision except the Oasis, which is still handled poorly (IMO)
• Eden and Autumn are awful bad guys. Just so bad. Worse than the Institute
Fallout New Vegas
• One of the DLC’s for this game (Honest Hearts) is super racist
• No but seriously why is it so racist, it’s not even a good DLC
• So many bugs it is almost unplayable
Fallout 4
• The Institute might be better then 3’s Enclave but it’s still awfully written
• Many decisions lack moral depth, but it’s slightly better then 3
• Some areas feel to lively, some too dead. Often fails to feel like a wasteland
Fallout 76
• I haven’t been able to play it too much because it won’t run on my decently powerful laptop
• The story is terrible, worse than 3
• More of a Fallout-themed sandbox, very little that is really good or just good at all
Human pros and cons(and how big of an pro/con they are)
Pros:
Big brain! 10/10 pro. Very inventive and imaginative, means we can defy nature if we so desire
Hands and thumbs. 8/10 pro. Very useful for crafting and not having to use our mouth for everything which would be gross.
Walking upright. 7/10 pro. It's nice to be taller than a lot of animals.
Good eyesight! 8/10 pro. I love having colour vision and pretty good distance and detail. Very enjoyable to look at things.
So many different flavours! 5/10 pro. I love how many skin tones and hair colours and eye colours and markings we get. So many shapes and sizes of humans. Very nice variety. A shame some people get freaked out by this and become all discriminatory.
Good healing ability. 7/10 pro. Humans are squishy but we are also pretty resilient.
Cooperative. 10/10 pro. Very useful and super overpowered skill. This imo is what turned us into apex predators.
Amazing endurance. 7/10 pro. We're only beaten by huskies. A good companion to our sheer determination. A shame we had to sacrifice good running speed and also sweating, while very useful, is smelly.
Throwing ability. 6/10 pro. I might be underestimating this one. Humans are the best at throwing! And it means we can hunt stuff from far away. Pretty useful, although technology has made throwing mostly an entertainment thing.
Language and communication. 6/10 pro. Humans are wack with this. We have incredibly complicated evolving languages, but at the same time this can complicate things as there is no universal language with the same complexity. Even without speaking language though we still find ways to communicate, and we learn languages very fast! I'd rate this higher if we knew more about animal languages.
Cons:
Pregnancy - we suck at pregnancy. 10/10 con. We give birth to undeveloped babies and it's still really painful and hard. Should have laid eggs.
Periods. 10/10 con. For real? What is the advantage of this? It's messy and painful and SO POINTLESS we're one of the very few creatures that have them. So we can have babies any time of year? WHy??? We'd probably do better if we only had them in spring. People can be legit crippled by periods. It's unfair and by far one of our worst features.
Outside testicles. 9/10 con. Ok this one is more common for all mammals but it's still sloppy. Sperm die when too hot, so to migrate that, you put it outside the body instead of making better sperm? And then because it's such a genetically valuable area you make is super painful to dissuade people being careless with their balls. Bravo evolution. Bravo.
Constant boobs. 5/10 con. How big of a con really depends on the size of the breasts. I know boobs are hot and all and people like to see them all the time, not just when breastfeeding like other animals, but it's very inconvenient if they're large.
Non-retractable dick. 4/10 con. Dick has more of a reason to be outside than balls, but humans have them pretty big and you can always get more streamlined.
Bad night vision + blindspot. 4/10 con. A shame considering we got good vision in other areas. Night time is spooky.
Easily manipulated in large amounts. 9/10 con. Causes a lot of problems in society, that a few evil people can have such a sway over many.
----------
That's all I can think of so far, feel free to add any additions you think of!
BUTTON GAME! You get the ability to speak and understand any language fluently for the rest of your life, BUT everytime you use the ability you loose a toenail (but it will gow back) do you press the button?
I suppose what would happen if I were to run out of toenails, and if the process was painful.
Pros and Cons of going through FFXV Chapter 13 in two paths, one choice
Noctis(normal)
Pro:
-Exploring
-Keeping the level the same
-Gathering the items(including Megentron for your noiseblaster)
-Getting Regis’s sword
Con:
-No powers
-No comrades
-Using the ring as your MAIN weapon
-Being hunted by daemons and magitek
-Jump scare like horror games
———————————————-
Gladio(easy)
Pro:
-Having weapons
-Beat daemons and magtek
-knowing what is going on
-company Blind! Iggy
Con:
-No Noctis or Prompto
-Not keeping the levels where you are before
-not getting Megentron(correct me if I’m wrong)
—————————————
I’ve beaten the game a long time ago. Now I’m playing it as the second time. And was debating which path should I choose once I get to Chapter 13(currently in Chapter 9 because I delay time)
Being always in favor of or always against any particular idea makes you blind to information that doesn't fit your perspective. This is usually a bad approach if you like to understand reality.
