Alright I'm confused.

Do people actually fight about if Tony or Shuri are smarter than each other??

You can love Tony, but you don't have to invalidate Shuri's hard work and brilliance.

Just like you can love Shuri, but also don't have to invalidate Tony's hard work and brilliance.

What's the point? It's not a competition, they both are good guys at the end of the day. I just think it's stupid to measure something so immeasurable.

They both had different opportunities, different resources. They worked with what they had and made it better.

Basically, you can't compare(and shouldn't compare) who's smarter. Tony is a genius in his own right just as Shuri is a genius in hers.

So take that, all you would-be instigators of some kind of “rivalry” between them.

Science and technology are not about “who’s smarter” (how do you even judge that? In what field??) or imagined rivalries. Science and technology make progress because of COLLABORATION.

Fics and headcanons where T'Challa and Shuri are absolutely fed up the the Exvengers and want them gone but are kinda stuck with them. I am here for Shuri bein annoyed with them question in here intelligence (and you know they would) while also demanding that she make them weapons (and they would do that too) and I love the thought that Steve would try to set up a get together with Wanda and Shuri because "their both kids, they should talk, be friends" completely ignoring how Wanda has to be in her mid to late twenties at this point and Shuri is in her teens. I am here for the royal guards (I can't spell their name and I don't want to offend anyone) absolutely hating the Rouges entitled attitudes and quietly talking shit about them or low key insulting their intelligence. I am here for T'Challa calling Tony and begging that they be taken off his hands because he is so sick of their bullshit. I am here for Wakanda being anti-team-cap

Tony Stark loves technology.

He loves it. He grew up making it, technology is his passion and life's work, and that's just who he is.

Tony wouldn't be jealous or angry or defensive if he had a chance to meet and talk science with Shuri. He would love it. He'd be so damn fascinated with what this girl could do, and admire her inventions just as much as his own (and more). He loves to learn new things, and every new discovery to him is like Christmas come early.

People who think Tony would hate Shuri are dead wrong. He would be so damn impressed and want to learn as much as he could from this amazing genius of a kid.

I’m drawing an MCU picture for every day of 2019 until “Endgame” is out, counting down to that movie and to “Captain Marvel.” The better pictures in this series, I consider WIPs (Works in Progress), and will eventually release finished versions of, without the countdown numbers.

Here’s a picture of Tony training Shuri i gauntlet-blasting, and making it hard for her to keep up. This is his revenge for earlier, where she utterly emasculated him in the lab. 

My hope for “Endgame” is that Shuri adopts both Bruce and Tony, much as she adopted Agent Bilbo.
