Ohhhh my god it is SO HARD to keep my mouth shut

One of the rules of this union conference is basically "don't start shit" but I was picking up a name badge because I didn't get one at registration, and this woman walking up behind me said something like

"Ugh, it's so stupid they're making us wear masks. It's completely pointless, and everyone is just complying-"

And then she came up beside me, and we made eye contact over my adorable black-with-rainbow-stars mask

And I raised my eyebrows at her. I waited for her to continue. I waited for her to say anything. I was so ready to pounce.

She paused. Then she kept walking

Yeah you better walk away or I'll get us both kicked out of this conference

just found out my dumbass brother caught covid bc he wasn't wearing his mask at school even though our mom begged him to bc she's immunocompromised + struggling with the effects of long haul covid + monitoring a bacterial lung infection + has underlying chronic disorders istg if she gets sick again bc of him im going straight home to beat the shit out of him bc that could legitimately be the thing that does her in and he knew this well and true but still decided to go ahead and unmask at school all because he felt like the odd one out for wearing one

Okay, I'm going to speak out now, so we stop this bullshit.

I took the vaccine in September.

The two shots of it k?The first shot just hurt my arm for a day, nothing serious.

Then 20 days Later I go take the second shot.

I almost fucking died on the second shot, I had a horrible pain in my neck, so bad I was able to see the nerves which acted up kind of bullshit (Sidenote this was the back of my neck who hurt so go ahead of science side of Tumblr explain this please.) It felt like being stung by a bee on the base of my neck.My left arm hurt for 3 days in a row, I had phantom pain in November.

It stopped now that we're in December.

And now you all coming toward me telling me I have to take ANOTHER shot despite the fact that NO VACCINE I ever took go to number 3? Like I am very very fucking sorry but I AIN'T doing this bullshit anymore.

I ain't pro-vaxx (I am for every vaccine before this one), I ain't anti-vaxx (never have been).

I am for "Obey the law, and the law won't chase you" mentality (Boy did that go well in 2020).

But now you telling me that this bitch is chasing DESPITE me CLEARLY following the rules? Listen. Do what you want, take the third dose and the eighth if you want to but DON'T fucking come at me and tell me I have to take it too.I almost died at 19 because of this
