States Must Act to Protect Vaccine Access Before It’s Too Late

We need more support to increase access to vaccines, here is how you can help

Hi, my name is [Your Name], and I’m a resident of [Your State]. I’m calling to ask the Governor to follow Massachusetts’ lead and require insurance companies to cover all vaccines recommended by our state’s Department of Public Health. Right now, if the CDC delays or politicizes a vaccine recommendation, like with COVID-19 or Hepatitis B, many people could lose insurance coverage, even if our own health experts still support it. That’s a dangerous gap. Massachusetts just closed that gap. I think our state should too. Please pass this message along to the Governor. just found out my dumbass brother caught covid bc he wasn't wearing his mask at school even though our mom begged him to bc she's immunocompromised + struggling with the effects of long haul covid + monitoring a bacterial lung infection + has underlying chronic disorders istg if she gets sick again bc of him im going straight home to beat the shit out of him bc that could legitimately be the thing that does her in and he knew this well and true but still decided to go ahead and unmask at school all because he felt like the odd one out for wearing one

Vaccines are needed. Vaccines are safe. I understand that some people have had bad experiences with doctors in the past, and your experiences and trauma are real & important, but vaccines save lives.

Also, to the "vaccines cause autism" crowd: fuck off. that study has been disproved, and besides, if you would rather have your kid die of measles or covid or influenza than live and be autistic, you're a terrible human being.
