I can’t believe SNS stans still have to justify that Sasuke and Naruto aren’t brothers.
Reasons why it’s not incest:
- they’re literally both orphans — that was the point of the entire fucking story.
- they are not from the same clan???
- they weren’t birthed by the same mother???
- Indra and Ashura passed down their CHAKRA. Think of Kaguya as a God and the descendants as literal races. If you think about it, by the logic that they’re brothers because of being reincarnated, NaruHina are cousins. So no, the logic of the Sage of Six Paths falls.
- Sasuke ALREADY has a brother and has never referred to Naruto as such.
- Naruto doesn’t call him brother, but rather he uses “brother” as a comparison to what a close connection would feel like. First of all, he never had anybody, so he wouldn’t know what having a brother would feel like, so it’s just an assumption. That’s his way of describing that he feels like he’s closer to Sasuke than the rest of his friends.
- Sasuke denies them being brothers. Sasuke doesn’t even understand it after VOTE2.
- As he grows up, Naruto stops referring to Sasuke as a brother lmfao.
- If they were related in any way, BoruSara wouldn’t be a thing.
STOP adding dumb reasons to make a ship look problematic when it’s not. You might trigger actual incest victims.
I’ve been in this fandom for a while and let me tell you. Now that they’re married, y’all use the “they’re married” excuse to hate on SNS. After the war arc, y’all used the “theyre brothers” excuse to hate on SNS. Before the war arc, y’all said that Sasuke was creeped out by Naruto’s obsession and that meant he was homophobic, when he actually stared in shock at Naruto because Naruto STILL considered him a friend, not because he was creeped out. Before that, y’all would just say “ew they’re not gay.”
Put two and two together. You’re just homophobic. Oh, and, if it takes a non-canon mlm ship to anger you that badly, maybe you should get off the internet or dont interact with fandom at all.
