Alastor is implied to be borrowing his power from a patron in exchange for his soul, and he is a cannibal after all, maybe he lived in cannibal town, he seems to dress that way anyways, and Rosie is one of the few that doesn't bring up his "sabbatical" (I think I can't remember)

she is the only demon in Hell that Alastor seems to treat as both an equal and a friend, pretty rare considering this is the guy who thought so highly of himself that he tried to solo Adam

the motif of Alastor being followed by eyes might imply the eyes that are seemingly missing from Rosie's face with 2 empty holes are the eyes that are all around watching everything, including Alastor

granted the other cannibals also have the same eye design, but there are so many eyes following Alastor that maybe the whole town is watching him (even Susan)

she is also the only demon besides Alastor that sees potential in Charlie, whereas others often treat her without respect for her station or her as a person

maybe Alastor presenting Charlie to her in cannibal town was to get approval from his master to form an alliance with the princess

it's always the quiet ones, the most polite and civil that hold the most power, they don't have to flex their power because they need not fear others, it's been stated that Rosie is a 3 out of 10 on the overlord power scale, but she could simply be hiding her true power

but most importantly of all, she is the only person in all of Hell that knows Alastor's sexual identity, even he doesn't know

I keep seeing The Snowmen come up on my dash in relation to the Sherlock ARG. Basically a while ago I started following a string that didn’t seem to lead anywhere but, meagre as it is, it contained a lot of buzz words. Been in my drafts so I’ll just post it:

Also I wonder if this DW story is somehow relevant. It was a series of episodes which were lost and then (mostly) recovered, and exist as a sequel to The Abominable Snowmen. It’s about a web causing havoc in the London Underground.

I just had a weird thought.

If characters I draw exist in a realm where I cannot draw them well, then is their standard for what passes as “realistic” art, that they create, automatically lower? Are they physically bound only to my art style and performance? Only able to grow and develop as I do? Are my creations chained to my limits?

Or is the entire thing relative and I’m talking nonsense?

I should start writing again but I'm extremely bad at figuring out what I'm writing if that makes any sense. I have an urban fantasy wip that I adore the characters of and have a few details laid out about the story but like, I have no idea what goes into it. I think I'll start collecting short prompts and writing 1 page or so stories. Something nice and short to get my brain moving in the right direction. I hate writing but I love writing :/

On one hand, taking a break from writing my main fic was good - it let me take a step back, deal with some RL stuff I’d been shoving on the backburner and gave me a chance to work on some shorter bits and pieces.

A lot of hollywood is corrupt especially the film industry. Big name directors will often times done something shady in the past that gets swept the rug. Why is only Taylor being dragged? What about all the big name actresses and actors signed on that are more likely to know about Russell's sick history. I'm gonna guess that she didn't know about him and was only happy to be apart of big film like Margot Robbie and Christian Bale and Rami Malek.. She loves musicals lmao. Its too late now anyways to pull out now that the film is wrapped.. She has to honor it sadly.

(cont.) I don't know. I just hope this doesn't get her canceled again. This time because her own fans are big deal out of it. We already know she is in a bad position now. Don't put pressure on her and draw attention to it and make it worse for her. She is finally gaining the publics approval again.

a) Yes, Hollywood is a fucked-up place where all the abusers and rapists get to start over like nothing happened, that's a huge problem (though among the current actively-working directors, there's not that many as monstrous as DOR lol). But it doesn't mean we have to play with their rules and to be a part of problem just because Taylor is involved.

b) Taylor is clearly drawing more attention than any other cast members for multiple reasons. Actually I think it's a good thing that she drew all the attention on this whole DOR nasty history and made people start to talk about him again. Sure, it's because of the news of her joining the film, but I don't think it's her people are talking about. People are talking about DOR mostly.

c) We're all Taylor blogs so of course we would only talk about Taylor, in fact, Taylor blogs here and some twitter accounts are the only fan accounts I have seen talking about DOR's history and asking her to not support a monster. I respect them very much for this. Fans of other celebs involved should talk about this too because it's indeed a sick thing that all these actors would work with DOR anyways after the knowledge of DOR being problematic all along. Not only in this case, all the actors who support every problematic director/producer should be talked about. It's sad that their fans never do.

d) Well, probably it's pressure we put on her but this is something about right and wrong, which should be equally important as "public approval" if not more. A sa survivor sent me a message a few weeks ago saying how hurt and disappointed she was by this news, I just... Personally I can't ignore this and just let it go. I know, the movie is made by D*sney, so this thing would probably end up being forgotten and everyone will just cheer for her and the movie when it comes out and the actors and actresses including her would praise what a great director DOR is, and all that. Nothing we say or do is gonna alter this, but that doesn't mean we should just shut up and wait for this to end. It's not the right thing to do. I totally understand where you came from and I think a lot of what you said is right. But I can't just not do anything.
