Have you played through Control? I was just curious because I noticed it was released and I haven't really heard much about it. I feel like there wasn't a lot of coverage on it (unless I was looking in the wrong places). What do you think about it?

currently playing, overall - love it and having fun. very atmospheric (suspenseful), clever combat, story that im interested in… the one thing im kinda not a fan of is health system, but it’s ok. and it’s always cool to see a game with a female protagonist

games that control reminds me of: quantum break, the evil within dlc’s, SCP, prey, untold stories and oblivion movie (like the mix of it all would be this game)

N. Lee Wood. "Looking for the Mahdi" (1996) Female journalist of middle-eastern descent disguises herself as a man and takes a fabricated human along on her reluctant mission to a fictitious middle-eastern country. Culturally sensitive and politically perceptive with a disturbingly prescient view of the world today. Favorite bit of world-building: the "fabricant" is hooked on trashy romance novels because he's fascinated with human emotion. Recommended.

I’m not sure where I want it yet, but I want a Xenomorph, and a little spider behind my ear! I also kinda want to get the autobot/decepticon emblems, but I’m not sure where to get them yet either

I actually have a lot of favourite movies, but Alien is probably the one I like best! My favourite animated movie is Prince of Egypt :D

You're working on a few cosplays, right? What characters are you going to cosplay?

Right now I’m working on the Runner/Dog Alien from Alien 3.

My others are:

- Alien!Ripley- Aliens!Ripley- Ripley 8- Queen Xenomorph- The Xenomorph from Alien- Officer Lewis from the original Robocop- Amanda Ripley- female Engineer- A biomechanical design of my own creation- A Colonial Marine- A Pred suit

I’ve got a lot and they’re mainly from The Alien Quadrilogy and Giger-inspired. Of course, it’ll take a long time to get them all done but I’m looking forward to working on them all because it’ll be fun!

OH MAN. That head canon you just posted (Samuels knitting Amanda's prosthetic socks and liners) ❤️👍❤️. But can you also imagine the awesome (and probably terrifying) prosthetic limbs Amanda would rig for herself?!?!

YOU ARE SO RIGHT, HOLY CRAP. <3 I was imagining her being fitted with a lifelike prosthetic (they’d look extremely convincing if they could use the same technology that’s used to build synthetics) but maybe instead she’d build the most badass prosthetic arm in existence… all sorts of attachments for different power tools, cutting tools, an ion torch…  :O
