As a fan myself, I honestly feel like I’m literally the only one who doesn’t really believe that RM is woke now. ARMYs are so sure he’s changed, that anyone who questions that even by a little bit will get a bunch of hate. His apology ARMYs like to bring up didn’t even address his racist/colorist behavior aside from the “west side til I die” thing. He still didn’t apologize for the comments he made about V and J-Hope’s skin color, nor when he said the N-word, nor when he wore dreads, nor when he made those racist impressions of black people and said it was his “talent” (he unfortunately did the latter more than once). I’ve been a K-Pop fan for nine years now and I know that people would make those same errors again and again in the future, even if they said they have changed their ways.
I’m not saying he’s still as problematic as he was years ago and I appreciate that he’s seems to learn and grow as a person in my eyes, but I’m saying what would ARMYs do if he messes up like in the past again?
