“Spicer?” Rai asked. “Jack? You with me, dude?” He poked his shoulder with his free hand. Jack jumped and looked up at him, eyes still wide. Then he twisted around and surged up, grabbed Rai’s face in both hands and- Oh. Wow. Okay. Spicer was kissing him.

been a while since we had a character bio! I'm doing them in watercolor now because my tablet pen crapped out on me. Anyway.

NAME: Shadow

AGE: ????

OCCUPATION: Kimiko's new bestie :)

LIKES: Bugs, the color purple, attention

DISLIKES: Goody-goodies, being ignored

SIGNATURE MOVE: Popping up in unexpected places

BIO: Much like her name suggests, Shadow is slippery and insubstantial, vanishing just as suddenly as she appears. Who is she, really? Where did she come from? Whatever her true motivations may be, she seems to have attached herself to Kimiko for now. Which is probably a good thing, right?

It was the first sip of water after an hour of training outside. It was a breeze cutting through a heavy summer’s afternoon. It was the solid ground beneath his feet when he hopped off of Dojo after a long flight. It was the warmth of the temple kitchen in the dead of winter.

Person A is a psychologist who studies procrastination, Person B is one of the study subjects who is always late for their appointments, seeming to procrastinate everything, leaving Person A confused as they search for something that Person B doesn’t procrastinate on.

CHAPTER 6 IS UP!!!!

in which the characters argue a lot, kimiko contemplates throwing things at wuya's head, and wuya takes up soccer

So, if you’ve been paying attention over the course of the AU, Jack’s outfit has been slowly evolving. He lost his glasses, started wearing his flight goggles more and more, started wearing the Jetbootsu as regular shoes and, most importantly, his fancy business blazer got burned up in Clay’s intro and as of the last chapter he’s got a snazzy leather jacket.

This was always the plan; while Jack’s far from his canon self, he’s been moving away from the “normal,” upstanding member of society he pushed himself into becoming and has evolved over the course of the story. Now, with his company under RJ’s control, he’s shifting into a new phase of his life and I wanted an updated character design to reflect that.

This isn’t his final form, but it’s pretty close. :)
