How do you draw creepy human eyes/teeth like in the witch post?
Gonna preface this with the fact that there are definitely better ways to do this, I don’t really know how you’re technically supposed to draw humans. I just winged it and it turned out good lol
For the eyes, I just started with an eye shape (like this).
After that, I found a scratchy-looking brush and did about three layers of “outlines” on the edges
The one on the bottom is the biggest and is the most transparent, the top one is the smallest and not transparent at all, and the middle is in between. Once you turn all the layers on it should look like this
Another thing I did to the whole face was duplicate the drawing, liquify it with the “crystals” setting (I use procreate, not sure if it’s called other things on other programs), put it on color burn and lowered the opacity
That’s my tip for any kind of distorted visual tbh. Duplicate it(or import another image), fuck it up with the liquify or chromatic aberration tools, and mash as many layer modes as you can onto it. Works well for horror stuff :3
For the teeth, I honestly just traced a reference. I used this image from Pinterest, edited and mirrored it, used it as a sketch and then put it on top of the final teeth drawing as a multiply layer for the shading.
After that I also did the same thing as before with the liquified layer, but I can’t add any more images to this post :(
If you want more tips for the teeth especially, USE REFERENCES!!! And if you can’t find the specific one you need, you can always create the references yourself.
Keep in mind that the witches are scary because they’re HUMAN, so horror tropes like distorted/inhuman faces aren’t really the way to go (or it at least isn’t what I’d recommend). The fact that they’re humans in a world full of things simpler than humans is enough to make them stand out and look unsettling. (I also might make a post in the future about how eldritch humans are from the perspective of cookies, but not today)

yes yes ofc!! im a commercial illustrator so i have a very specific process for speed/efficiency and to also make it easier to revise if need be so the process isn't very "fun" (fun for me is like mixing paint and applying it slowly lmao) but it is how i do it lol. this is gonna get long so beware!
so my usual process for digital work is always b&w shapes > color > finalize. i use something called 'select color range' (photoshop)/'select color gamut' (clip studio paint) plus tons of layers w different blending modes to get the colors i want. this works in procreate/krita/any other program as well so long as there are layers/blending modes! also, even if there isnt select color range, this process can still work, just the clean up afterwards will take longer.
how you use select color range/gamut is like this: you pull it up and it will give you a eyedropper tool with a little window. for CSP it looks like this. you can select a color on your canvas and the program will isolate/marquee all the colors that match/are close to the one you selected. you can change the "error margin of color" to include a higher range of colors/values or a lower range. 1 being very specific (it will only isolate the color you selected) and higher numbers being very broad (for example, if you put 20 and select a red, almost all reds and maybe even some oranges/yellows that are the same value will get selected)
so because of this, another thing is that i tend to only work with a round hard brush with no anti-aliasing which makes it incredibly easy to select entire chunks of value and paint bucket it without the horrible grey-halo. in PS i dont believe there is this option but can be mimicked via the dissolve brush (but PS tends to have better color tech so it's not a huge issue)
OKAY SO im using this crop of an old vash piece as an example. i did this in like 5 minutes (goes to show how quick it can be!!)
i tend to always make sure my piece in BW is somewhat developed and clean. usually all lighting/value/comp/drawing problems should be solved so that once u get to color u can just focus on making it look nice lol. the level of development/refinement is honestly up to you, but i find that w this method, the more refined the better
usually i start with a base color on overlay. i try to think abt the overall warmth/hue of the image and select a base color based on that. so like if i want a super warm yellow sunset ill prob choose a neutral yellow. if i want a crazy neon green night scene may go for a neutral green/blue tone.
i would kinda recommend that u have an idea of how the color scheme is gonna be or else u are gonna be in indecision hell and sliding the hue sliders around for hours... but also fuck it who cares we ball
select color range - so here i start selecting entire groups of values and depositing color down. with simple images like this its pretty straight forward, but with more complicated images (like ones with bg, multiple light sources, etc) usually i start with the shadows en masse, and then the lights en masse, and then will start getting more into individual objects. if u dont have this function you can also just paint directly on with the pen or pencil brush
i also abuse the hue/saturation slider lol. this way i can kinda get the exact color i want depending on the blending mode (i use them all. literally. i use overlay the most but my fav is subtract and darken lmao)
i literally just do this with all the values on the canvas or until im like. happy with it lol
i tend to paint bucket everything but if i need like very specific areas and the marquee has selected areas i DONT want i just mouse/pen it in
after doing all that you can start to like tint/change color with like entire layers of overlay or anything! color balance or anything! (i used a dark purple subtract to tint everything a bit more green, and then put down a pure white on normal on the BG)
i will say tho that this process is not perfect, and sometimes i will have to go back in and repaint/recolor certain areas to make it look better, but i use this method really just to quickly apply color to the entire image, and then make the adjustments i need later.
anyway i hope this was informative in some way LMAO hope it makes sense and that you can find a way to maybe use it for ur own work :D

January 27, 2025 - ASPHYXIATE Animation Meme, P! OC Timebomb
I was introduced to Phighting In December of 2024, and by the time the new year hit and got like a month or two in, I found myself in possession of a hyper fixation that was far larger than my previous one and was just kinda sitting there, and so I did what any normal person would do, and made an OC out of it :D
Timebomb is my first of quite a few P! OCs, and though they aren't quite my favorite, they have the most development and backstory out of everyone else. Also being the first they're my baby and if anything else happened to them i would kill everyone in this room and then myself (/ref silly)
This animation was made as a way to show some of the different stages/events in their life, and I had a lot of fun experimenting with the (at the time) new and block-y Roblox style. The progression of the events is as follows: Young Timebomb(when they lived in/freshly left Playground), The IncidentTM(when Timebomb accidently activated their gear and exploded themselves while trying to modify it), Recovery(a bit self explanatory, no? Timebomb recovering from the incident), and Present Time!
Also old Timebomb design is weird to look at (literally three things changed)
February 3, 2025 - Double Trouble Animation Meme, P! Valk and Dom
When I started work on Double Trouble is probably where my hyper fixation fully kicked in. iirc a good chunk of the motivation behind this was because i didn't find a whole lot of Valk and Dom stuff on yt, so I wanted to add more to the mix :3
Also for anyone that wants to draw their gears, they are pain. The amount of times i remember adjusting the size and proportions fo things but like the tiniest amount and it still not looking right was fucking wild. I got there and im happy with what they do look like, but jeez it was hard. Dom's megaphone specifically bc of the angle and the way megaphones just are.
I also played with Clip Studio EX for this one too, and made the animation entirely in the program. It was so incredibly laggy by the end of it because of how many layers and keyframes and things I had in the file omg it was hell but it also turned out so good and im so happy with it and i love it so much they are the brothers ever and i love them
March 17, 2025 - ATYCHIPHOBIA Subspace Fanart
I made this one like two days after ATYCHIPHOBIA came out, and i literally was listening to it on repeat for both of those two days, and atleast another couple after too. Yes i am aware i likely have a problem however screw you I love and hate Subshits character. Yes i called him Subshit :P
This was also one of the first drawing i did in Procreate on my iPad, said iPad being at the time only like a month or so old. It was a fun way to explore the new drawing app and to test out a fun shading style!
April 14, 2025 - SHIMMER Animations Meme, P! Subspace
When i started making Shimmer was around the time my Subspace fix came into full swing. Said swing hasnt exactly stopped, but thats besides the point.
I had originally planned to animate the whole thing in Flip-a-clip to give myself a bit of a challenge as well as to re-familiarize myself with flip-a-clip animating since its been a loooooong time since ive really done anything in it, but ended up doing literally only the storyboard in flip-a-clip before moving to procreate to make the separate pieces. I had the idea of animating it in procreate too but decided to not buy whichever procreate version is the animating one so i ended up doing it in CSP again.
Can you tell I like Subspace yet? No? Wow surprising. Yeah my friends have told me i simp for him and i mean they arent exactly wrong but also yes I am well aware of how terrible of a person he is, however that does not stop the brain worms from saying he can be fixed (not i can fix him (i am well aware i cannot), but he can be. probably.)
May 19, 2025 - The Chosen Four, P! SSIAU Fanart (au by @.crumbsispoggers, def should go read its amazing)
This fic. omfg this fic. It is absolutely beautiful, and i cried at least one while reading it. I mean that in the best way possible go read it rn please :D
The story is essentially Alternate Version of Scythe, Coil, Boombox, and Shuriken (called Rifle, Frost, Sonnet, and Shurileaf) all die and get isekai-ed into the OG universe and omg its amazing so far. Im so excited to see what happens next and this fic is also part of the reason im so extra excited for new Crossroads.
I based all of these drawing by the last chapter of each characters prologues, and tried ot base the drawings off of what i interpreted of their storied and personalities. Also glowy bits everywhere because I thought it was really cool and fun looking and it is and i love them all so much. Fun fact I've drawn Sonnet too all by himself because I love boombox and also Sonnet gave me one of my fav bb headcannons; Darkheart child :D
June 11, 2025 - P! OC PB(Poison Butterfly) Ref Sheet
PB is yet another one of my beloved Phighting OCs. They are the spawned child of another OC, Bow, and her partner Dark. All three of them are ex-Darkage Clan members, but until more is known about the Darkage Clan and other factions, the reason why they left the faction will remain unknown.
To be completely honestly i made PB to make an oc with the Poisonous Butterfly gear bc i started seeing alot of poisonous butterfly OCs on my feeds (cough cough toxin cough cough) and so i made one of my own.
Yes, PB technically has wings. Yes i know that Inphernals cannot have wings unless they are related to the SFOTH. No PB is not related to a SFOTH. My characters are cannon-compliant and not canon-accurate. I comply with the rules of the Phighting universe as much as I can, but sometimes i do go against them for the sake of chaarcter design and story. To work around the cannon issue of the SFOTH wings thing, PB cannot in any way use their wings to fly. They can at most glide, but even then their wings are incredibly weak and fragile, and dont hold them up for very long.
They also use their wings as a sort of cloak, a scarf with a long back covering what points would give away that their cloak is their wings. It's incredibly hard to tell that their cloak is their wings without seeing them unfold/stretch them or being told, even by touch.
July 13, 2025 - Winter and his Guardians, P! SSIAU Icedagger ft co. Fanart (yes same au, but an au of the au)
Meet Icedagger and the Seven Winter Guardians! Icedagger is one of my fav characters and seeing him get whats basically just his own version of Ghostwalkers Watchers (Ghostdeeri, Doomsekkar, etc) made me happy so i just had to draw all of them.
Holy fuck do i hate drawing feet and hands. Literally any other part of the body and I'll be fine. Ill complain a little, but Ill draw it and be happy with it in the end. Feet and Hands? I hate them. so much. theyre so hard for no reason at all. I put effort into the shoes and so made glove hands. That was the price to pay, i could only put enough motivation into making one of them look good, not both. Seriously though, I am happy with how all the poses turned out in this piece. This is my piece of artwork with the most amount of characters in it that i think i've ever done.
I played with some lighting and shading effects in this piece too, trying to make all of their faces brighter and have an almost glow in the otherwise dark and icy cave i put them all in. Speaking of the background too, I pretty much completely improvised it. I had a rough idea of what i wanted, but i didnt really make the background until i had already drawn and colored all the way.
August 8, 2025 - P! OC Disco Ref Sheet
Disco is, surprise surprise, another Phighting OC! Also my favorite of them because she's just a silly flirty bartender! Totally! Definitely! And They're totally not crazy and a fucking psychopathic yandere who will protect his family and lover at any cost! Nope! Not at all!
Anyways, Disco is my favorite of my p! ocs, and also probably he most fucked up of them all. Do those two have a correlation to each other? Probably, but I'm too busy being giddy about making them gay asf with her partner to worry about that.
Yes, Disco has a romantic partner! Who would've guessed, its another OC, Wolf! They are incredibly gay for eachother and incredibly adorable and the next art definitely is not related to them at all i dont know what your talking about.
I gave Disco a bun hc off accessories and bright colors because they are the type of character to stand out in a crowd, even of people dressed in the same way. The star charm hanging from her left horn is interchangeable, and she owns three different colors of star; Pink, Blur, and Purple, colors to represent whichever gender he's feeling at the time! He's Genderfluid :D
September 2, 2025 - 1-800 Animation Meme, P! OCs Disco and Wolf
I lied it was about them. By the time I started 1-800, I had been drawing in this silly little Roblox style of mine for a while, and had also recently developing a fixation on my own sillies, so this was produced out of it :D Fun fact! I made this the week/weekend of my Birthday while in the middle of the woods camping with family with no service. I think this was the first time i made something without using really any kind of references, because i literally could not look up any. I had the images already saved to my ipad and phone, and that was it.
The final version of this animation is also slightly different than what i originally had in mind too. Originally, i wanted Disco to give off way more psycho vibes at the end of her little part and kind of almost possessive at the end end, but i didnt quite get it the way i wanted to. I still got it pretty good I think, but I also may end up remaking this in the future when i have a few more art tricks up my sleeves to really capture what I want to capture.
Also my sillies are so gay and i love them so much. The couple ever.
October 7, 2925 - Misfit Toys, P! OC Disco ft The Rosebuds Key Art
More Disco art! Can you tell who I like yet? This piece i gave the label of Key Art to, and its kind of like how the Key Arts in the official P! Wiki are labeled, or at the very least used; Pieces of art that are important representation of the Character. atleast thats how i interpret them, so thats what this is! Around this time, I also made two other Key Arts for other OCs, they just didnt make the years favs list lol.
This also includes some more OCs that are very important to Disco's story, The Rosebuds! Thats just a fancy name for them though, The four surrounding Disco are friends-turned-found-family! Theyre all pretty near in age, and all met and live in Playground. They are all incredibly close to eachother. I love me some found family tropes.
November 30, 2025 - Just a Completely Normal Guy, Hermitcraft s11 Joel Smallishbeans Fanart
Some fun and totally normal art of a Mr. Joel Smallishbeans of Hermitcraft! With Season 11 started up, My Hermicraft and general MC hyperfixation has come back to join Phighting in taking up all of my brain space, so I drew the silly clown man with a comically large hammer!
I experimented a ton with lighting and shading and also just kind of color in general with this piece, and I really the way both versions of it turned out. Proper lighting and shading especially with cloths is lowky kind of intimidating to me, so I had to constantly reference a piece a friend of mine made a while ago bc i really like the way they shade and wanted to do it kind of like they did it.
Also im mentioning it again but I absolutely love the idea of Joel having just a giant ass fucking hammer as a weapon model this season. I think it would be so funny especially with how much he likes messing with the mace sometimes a giant clown hammer mace would just be beautiful.
December 15, 2025 - Secret Santa Gift, Woobie Boombox (WBB by @lowpoly-cat)
This one is a Secret Santa Gift! I participated in two Secret Santa's this year, and this one only got the fav spot bc i really like the way the background turned out (even if woobie is blocking most of it). I genuinely freehanded the shape of the flipside tower by opening phighting and positioning y mouse so that the screen wouldnt move to the sides then just drew the shape. Im so happy with how it turned out too.
Also this piece took fav over the other bc Phighting and Boombox and i love the both of those things sm. Im normal about this game and its silly little characters i promise you. Woobie Boombox!!
Artpiece of the Year (aka my fav), August 25, 2025 - Phighter Hug!
My favorite piece of the year is also kind of ironically the piece i drew myself for my Birthday. I made this based off an image base i found on Pinterest to use as reference, and just filled in my favorite Phighting characters for all the little bean things that were in the arms. Scythe, Subshit, Boombox, Vine Staff, Ghostdeeri, and The Dollmaker.
I really like all the little expression i gave them all too. I tried to make the expression match both the character and the original expression from my reference, and placed everyone to fit that. Scythe is probably yelling yehaw, Sub is plotting evil plots, Boombah is being a little joyous boy, Ghostdeeri is curious and observing, Vinestaff is squimshed, and Dollmaker is a bit distant.
Why i like all of these silly little fellers so much i could not tell you, but i love them and i cant wait for more merch. Gotta collect them all after all :D
Now that my multitude of rants are over, I'm actually really happy with how all of my (finished) pieces turned out this year!! I think it might be just a tad bit obvious what I've hyperfocused on for like the entire year lol

Hey! Idk what gif making program you are using but if you are sussing something that lets you select “keep frame” Vs “discard frame” you can put the background in only the first frame and have the next frames only include the moving parts on transparent background- it really cuts down file size. It also changes the look though, you’ve been making this very cool aesthetic. The background won’t “jump around/flicker” anymore if you do this. Anyway I hope this wasn’t obnoxious and can help, just one of many gif file size reduction tips among many from someone who used to spend hours making HxH gif sets for this website hahahha
Well, I draw everything on Procreate and use CapCut to edit, then I just use EZGIF or whatever it's called to convert and compress because it's just the best of the converters I have used.
I deliberately use noise though, I kind of like when the BG flickers a little. It's not really so much I don't want things moving? The issue is that, when I compress, it erases linework, therefore making everything look slightly blurred, but it makes it look 'older' IG, so whatever. I guess it's kind of a win-lose. That's not really what I care about though. It's the fact that fucking Tumblr always has issues with me uploading anything that is over 10MB in size. I might be crazy, but that is what I have noticed. And it's not just with GIFs either: I've noticed it with normal drawings too. Perhaps this is their revenge on me because I use the Brave browser?
Oh, well. It's not too bothersome. It just pisses me off when it results in it not showing in tags or on the dash. I actually reached out to Tumblr staff about a video I posted a while back and asked them why it just wasn't showing up anywhere, they just said that a lot of people have this issue and they don't know why. Helpful!

hi there!! for the past couple of years, i've been using exclusively procreate since my drawing tablet stopped working :') i have a huge fucking arsenal of brushes but recently i've been using a specific free brushset called georg's elder brushes and i'm absolutely in love! it fits my artstyle to a fucking T and i've been using them to strengthen my lineart game :)
other brushes i use / used to use:
(3$) wendy xu's comic textures and tones set -> my more silly doodles and potentially going to be used for comics if i decide to for this au
(free / nyp) thomas mahon's brushset -> i usually use it when i'm trying to paint or for subtle painting
(7$) essential max pack -> idk when i bought this, but i did used to use the grain brush religiously for everything before the apoc au!
First off, I want to say, your art is beautiful. the subtle surrealism and abstractness (idk if that's a real word lmao) you use is just fucking amazing. I don't know how you do it but your art is all just so cool. I literally look at your art for inspo when i have art block-
Second, If you don't mind me asking, what program+tablet do you use to draw? I'm trying to work more with digital art, but I don't really know what to do. I have a cheap entry-level tablet I'm currently working with, and I use some free art program i can't even remember the name of (yeah hella scuffed ik). I'm feeling somewhat confident where I'm at and would like to 'upgrade', but I just don't know where to go from here. With the digital art stuff I aspire to do, you'd definitely be one of the people I'd want tips/advice from! :)

And I may not be the best person to ask about tablets cuz I have a 12” ipad pro which I shelled out on but it’s also basically my laptop and I use it constantly for everything. I dunno if u would want a screen tablet if u have been working with a plug in one (I’ve literally forgot what that type of called rip) but a small iPad (double check if it’s compatible with the pencil and which one) would work great and I heard there are also some great Samsung tablets available which I’ve not tried out personally but I’ve seen people praise
For programmes I switch between procreate and clip studio paint. U do need to pay for both but they are worth it, but they both have their pros and cons. Procreate is wonderful but I don’t know why it takes up a lot of storage (21gb vs csp’s 3gb on my ipad) im sure I’m just too lazy to look into it, but that’s something to consider. Procreate has lots of really cool options for effects and brushes right under ur hand which I love. Csp is also really awesome, but I feel like it’s more geared toward people who are working with print specifications and who already have tools to load onto the app. It also seems like csp is meant more for desktop cuz of the layout and small tabs and it could be an issue if u are using a small screen. So consider which works best for u and start there, but whichever u choose its a great app

That’s been my headcanon for a while now, actually!! I think for me it came from two characters in a manga I like that are a lot like a dog and a cat but have inverted fav animals and when I read about that I was like “oh, right, makes sense since they like each other” and then my brain turned it krbk because when does it not lmao

Ah man, I’m sorry but I’m not the best person to ask this to! I started this sideblog cause I had too many followers on my main and I didn’t want my stuff to be seen by that many people at first, so whatever I did probably isn’t what you’re looking for :( but really there isn’t much to it, just post whatever you like to draw, tag it as best as you can (but remember that only the first five tags appear in the search page) and be patient, since whatever you do at first you won’t get much attention anyway - the only real advice I can give is to draw something that makes you happy and that you’d draw anyway even if no one were to see it, it’ll make keep posting despite a possible lack of activity a lot easier!

I like to think Baku’s body is attuned enough to his own quirk that he wouldn’t get drawbacks of the kind tbh, though that wouldn’t be a bad thought for when he just starts to increase the output/width and strength of his explosions............ well, I myself suffer from chronic headaches and migraines so I’m always up for projecting on my favs ngl lmao

THANK YOU FOR LIKING HIM HE’S CALLED DAVIDE Dav for short, he’s a cat of a man and a music instrument enthusiast (mostly string ones, but he’s very good with the piano as well) - he works in a music instruments store, and he’s a uni student majoring in philosphy! He doesn’t like bothersome things, he isn’t very good at taking anything seriously or putting effort in stuff, but he’s very chill to spend time with and generally a nice chat both if you want mindless thoughts or deep conversations (he’s a philosophy major after all). He can’t sing for shit, he’s got two cats (tago and schelly!), and he just wants a quiet life to laze around but all his friends are hurricanes in human bodies, but then again, he picked them himself so he can’t complain. He’s a good boy!! I’m planning a comic for him and his boy Ross >:]
