Good take! The only bit I disagree with is the procreation bit. It is used not only when taking about surrogacy. It is used when talking about having your own biological children as opposed to adoption or being a step dad. That is very telling here.
I think he wants his own biological children and that is what he meant by it. Any other phrasing would entail adoption, so he used the one word which unequivocally signals he is not adopting or being a step dad.
Also, I like to remind people that Armie has had a vasectomy, so he doesn’t want anymore children of his. People don’t get that if they think they want more children. And Tim doesn’t want to adopt but wants his own biological children. That is hard if one partner has had a vasectomy. Not saying they don’t love each other. Perhaps, it is his current thinking and doesn’t reflect anything about how he feels about Armie.
Hello Anon, Thank you for reaching out to me about this. Yes, indeed, the word "procreation" is synonymous with “reproduction”. But what a horrible way to express your “desire to have a child with the woman you love” isn't it? In my opinion, the way Tim spoke using the word "procreation" really sounded more like a technical process than a romantic one. And just to clarify... of course Tim wants to have his biological child, and that would be the case through assisted reproductive technology. The child would be biologically his.
Regarding "And Tim doesn't want to adopt but wants his own biological children. That is hard if one partner has had a vasectomy," Anon, you brighten my day by suggesting that only a vasectomy prevents Tim and Armie from having a biological child together. If that were the only obstacle, it would be wonderful… But I agree, it's very hard... but not because of Armie's medical intervention but because even if they are madly in love, and even if they dream of having "an impossible children," currently science doesn't allow it, for now… but maybe one day…
Anon 😘
"it'd be so unfair and unethical of me to bring a child into this evil dying world" said jessica from the suburbs of maine
listen if you don't personally want kids that's cool that's fair that's totally fine and no ifs and about about that but please miss me with the ideological anti-natalism like
our ancestors and contemporaries have chosen to persist and believe in humanity in the face of chattel slavery and famine and genocide and abject poverty so stop condemning procreation there is really no justifiable reason to say "hey let's totally give up on the world"
Narrator: If there was a magic lever you could pull that would cause anyone who believes "procreation is the meaning of life" to kill themselves AND their children, would you pull the lever despite-

Hi Ma, what is your opinion on antinatalism??
Procreation is the divine impetus for life. Life propagates to perfect itself. Consciousness flows from one generation to another. Each generation is the progressive refinement of a soul bloodprint.
If MC had children with the RO's would they be half hel spawn or human?.
Generally, they'd be mostly human but with abilities similar to their inhuman parent—though not quite as powerful. That said, it can vary from child to child; some might be born with more pronounced monstrous traits/stronger abilities, whilst others might appear almost entirely human, showing only very minor helspawn traits.
It's worth noting however that the chances of a helvling being able to produce offspring are... extremely slim. It's also something that will not come up in game (at least, not in relation to the main character).
