Keyleth hadn't realized how late it had gotten. She'd been staring into the fireplace in her room just... thinking. She hadn't heard Vex come in, starting slightly when the blanket was draped over her shoulders.

"Oh, thanks, Vex," she said softly, pulling the blanket slightly closer to her. "I should... probably go to bed now..."

She didn't move however, continuing to sit on the floor in front of the fire.

"UH- " LEGION BLINKED. He had been in just about every bad situation one could be in before. He'd been beaten, stabbed, mauled, etcetera, and had to flee several cities. He'd nearly died hundreds of times and taken hundreds of lives. Somehow this more intimidating.

Legion was not someone suited for fashion advice. Both looked at least mildly impractical for a fight. He didn't say that, though. That felt like the wrong answer, actually.

"This one's good, n' it's not like you can't wear the other one another time?" He thinks that's allowed, anyway. Legion is just hoping his clothes are appropriate for this whole thing because he does not have anything else to wear.

Caleb's arms are wrapped TIGHTLY around her, knowing that the feeling can be grounding. He's experienced it many times before, and he hopes he can help her, too. "Alles gut." He whispers, voice almost soothingly. "It's okay. I...get panic attacks all the time. Nightmares too, actually. It's never pretty," his voice softens even more, "But ut's nothing to be ashamed of, Astrid."

There were some things that a tincture or potion could not save his comparatively human form from. Ailments came and went. The older he became, the more severe they would become and for now, Percy was glad he was young and spry. With enough care it would come and go without needing to waste efforts on magic. Unfortunately and fortunately, he knew Keyleth would offer care. But, maybe an overwhelming amount. He could only hope for the best.

“Tea.” It comes out as more of a raspy demand than an ask, tugging a ratty old blanket tight around his shoulders and over his coat as he felt the chills of a fever rip through his body.

Realizing a moment after how terse he’d been he sighs, rushing his hand through his already bedraggled hair. “Ah... Rather... can you make tea. Please?”

The comment caused the ever moving gnome to go still. Pike had the ability to do that, stop him in his tracks. He tried to process it, process what he was saying, and how to not fuck it up. He had a habit of doing that. “Show me,” he finally settled on, a bit cocky as he voiced it, even if he was nervous.

   It’s been a LONG day, and even though Percy is usually someone who recoils and locks himself in his room, he cannot say no when Pike asks his to STAY. She looks about as beaten down as he feels, so there’s really no argument to be had. He slips out of his pants and shoes and slides into bed, opening his arms for her.

   It’s SOFTER than he allows himself to be, usually, but Pike is always there for him, always by his side to support him, and he’d be damned if he couldn’t give some of that back. 

    “You should get some rest,” He mutters eventually, pulling the BLANKET over them as he leans down to kiss the top of her head. “It’s late.”

It’s been quite a NIGHT, and Dorian, at some point, decides that he needs some air. He’s not exactly drunk, but he can feel the alcohol in his system, and the warmth of the tavern is messing with his head.

So he finds himself stepping OUT and very nearly runs into Laudna, who seems to have had a similar idea. The cold air hits him, and while it’s somewhat of a reprieve, he instantly notices that Laudna’s not wearing a jacket. He doesn’t even think that, maybe she doesn’t need one at all, but he shrugs off his own anyway, and drapes it around her shoulder.

“You’re going to FREEZE,” He points out, pulling it a little tighter around her shoulders. “How long have you been out here?”

    Astrid really shouldn’t be HERE. 

  She’s not entirely sure what she’s expected, and if Master Ikithon would have let her go at all, but while she hadn’t asked, she isn’t FOOLISH enough to believe that he doesn’t know she’s here.

  Wulf’s refused to come, refused to accompany her to the place they’ve dropped Bren off a year ago, but she has to know. She has to SEE him. What she sees, however, isn’t what she’s expected. He looks...calm, and almost serene, his hair having grown out a little.

   She swallowed hard, attempting her best to keep the MASK in place. “Oh, no. I don’t think we did,” Astrid offers him a smile. “I was just delivering something. I’m Sara,” She holds out her hand, heart pounding in her chest. “Nice to meet you.”
