Growing up

As someone whose worked in the art field professionally for years, I'm just gonna say it but criticizing your work =/= a critique on your character.
If you can't separate your work from yourself and are too attached to it to a point you don't want to improve and consider disliking your work a form of bullying, you're not cut out for the art industry.
Your work is gonna be given back to you a ton of times for revisions and fixes when working for a company and if you can't handle that, then art is just not a viable option for you.
Art communities online insulate the most toxic behavior and keeps people from reaching their full potential.
[edit] People are already commenting on this criticism is bullying if its a hobby. Stop normalizing coddling people, you're part of the problem. You are literally creating a culture where artistic expression is being repressed because you can't handle someone telling you need to improve. Log off and touch grass.

We’ve been busy these past two months finishing a children’s book commissions (it pays the bills!)...and we’re done with all the paintings.
We did 24 full watercolor paintings in 6 days...woo, they were LONG days!! It’ll be nice to step back and work on our own dog project soon.
