A fun thing with Stitch and The Professor both being from Galar originally is that we can do some silly Interpersonal Drama. Marley, my Stitch, considers Professor Cedar their nemesis.

Why, you may ask?

Because Professor Cedar dresses like this and would eat lunch on the bench in front of their shop. Every. Single. Day.

Imagine having a one-sided beef with the exact midpoint of the Weird Al to Gonzo spectrum with an advanced degree in Pokemon Biology and terrible/great taste in men because they keep ruining your storefront aesthetic.

What kind of doctor is Bedlam? Are they the research kind that works with Pokémon like professor oak? Or are they like Colress who work with the mechanics of Pokémon research?

Bedlam, also known as Professor Cedar, is a Pokemon doctor and researcher. As a matter of fact, Oak becomes one of their mentors, their other being Kukui! (And...technically Lusamine, back when they worked for the Aether Foundation.)

Bedlam specializes in Pokemon biology, mostly from a medical standpoint. Their official research focus is around Pokemon found in Alter-Spaces; Distortions, Ultra Space, Wishing Wells and the like. Bedlam researches how these Pokemon differ, how Alter-Spaces affect a Pokemon's health, etc.

In Selkie AU, Bedlam is also the official expert on the Selkies, as well as being Arceus's personal assistant who gets thrown about time and space for additional Pokemon research.

(Bedlam's official team...though they have a few "unofficial" members that show up at times. ;3)
