rtd really just drifted on by the effects of 'the year that never was.'

they rewound time right up until the death of president winters.

saxon's entire cabinet is still dead. the president is dead. the new prime minister apparently made contact with aliens who also killed the president. martha jones, the doctor and captain jack are still on the tv as wanted terrorists and martha's flat was blown up. a whole shootout happened on the jones' family home street. leo jones was told to go into hiding. everyone in downing street casually saw tish get herded off by the police. and as far as everyone is concerned, the prime minister's wife shot him on the same day he was elected.

like dude we find out in 'the end of time' that the master had a whole cult on earth who were waiting for this in case he died. what's going ON how are we skipping over all of this?!

not to MENTION that the toclafane just got sent back to their horrible dimension and just die?!!?!?!?!!?
