Hi! So this is really, really, early, but I was wondering if you could have some Javid fluff with Passover? It's a Jewish holiday in the spring about being free from slavery. No worries if this isn't done soon! Love you and your writing! 💞💞💞💞
I’ve had this ask for months so I’m sorry this took so long! Hope it’s okay.
General disclaimer: I am not Jewish. I googled all of this (although I did learn about it in RS class years ago and I remember eating parsley and crackers so there’s that?) so I’m really sorry if anything is wrong. There’s no offence intended from Jack or from me. Please let me know if anything needs changing.
Part of my wider ‘Jack and Davey celebrating various religious holidays with each other’ serious. It needs a tag. Probably not that one.
“I like holidays that involve wine,” Jack grinned, smilingas Davey poured four small glasses and one larger one.
Davey just rolled his eyes and set the bottle down. Cookiesand alcohol seemingly endeared Jack to any Jewish holiday he introduced him to.He appreciated that Jack wasn’t Jewish and he wasn’t trying to force thereligion onto him, but he liked sharing the traditions he’d grown up with andJack never complained. It made Davey happy and anything that did that was okaywith him.
“Every holiday we have seems to involve wine,” Davey pointedout. Whether the occasion called for it or not Jack usually added it to thetradition. Despite not drinking it himself, Davey liked that it made Jack evenmore tactile than usual so he wasn’t complaining.“Exactly, and they’re all great,” Jack said solemnly. “It can’t be acoincidence.”
