Is having progesterone in my system for the first time in ages the reason why I’m so out of sorts or is it just the post-op/ post anaesthetic experience? I cried as I ate dinner last night and almost cried in class today.

Progesterone
Day 4 on the Progestrone pills and I'm doing pretty well. One crazy side effect that I did not realize would happen... Total lack of sex drive. I'm also getting a bit emotional over things I don't usually get emotional about. I actually don't think my husband had even noticed so it must not be that bad. All and all, no biggie. Hopefully this works.
Hormones
So I got my mirena pulled yesterday and it wasn't too bad. Pretty fast, just bad cramping here and there. But the old male doctor said I should try a diet when I told him why I wanted it pulled... Wanted to shove my food diary in his face. Just told him the fuckin beta-blockers made-to-slow-metabolism pill only caused 10lbs gained in 6 months so suck it. So now I have to get a blood test for factor five to see if I have a mutation that makes estrogen induced blood clots more likely. If not, back to my gianvi I never had a problem on. Till then, I got the mini-pill, progestin only. Fuckin WEIRD side effect time... Got alternatively nauseous and starving. Ok, no biggie, I've had that before. Then exhaaaausted. So I go to bed. Suddenly I'm fucking WIRED. Like, can't stop shaking my legs nd talking a mile a minute. Im not that kinda person naturally sooo that was odd. Couldn't sleep till like 3am, the woke up every couple hours still energetic. Can't find anyone online that explains why that'd happen either but taking this shit in the morning from now on. So now I called out sick cuz I'm exhausted and still cramping and there's an awesome thunderstorm outside. Anyone else taking progestin only birth control?
I went for blood work this morning - CD17 - (woo hoo only blood = no $40 copay) to check my progestrone levels.
My afternoon call from the nurse went something like this...Your level came back as a 7 which is good (YAY) but we really like to see it at 10+. So they called in an oral prescription of prometrium. I'll now be taking 200mg twice a day from now until my blood pregnancy test, hopefully longer with the dream of our first IUI being successful.
As far as the blood pregnancy test goes, I have to wait till April 2nd. It seems like an eternity away and technically two weeks should be March 31st but the nurse coordinator said I'm to come back Monday, April 2nd.
Any suggestions on how to occupy my time for the rest of the 2ww?
I greatly dislike being pumped full of hormones.
Ugh.
more progestrone that I want.
Only 4 more pills after tonight, though.
