we have yet to discuss this but do we think Foggy has any kind of dynamic without anyone other than Matt ?
Something about his relationship with Simon itches my brain. Like he both is worried that it won't be worthwhile to take his case but also he fundamentally cares so much about struggling people and it's very very clear to him that he needs help. I think there's kind of this... not distrust exactly, but they're kind of uneasy. Simon is uneasy with all of them really (except Karen. I think he likes Karen) but I think Foggy is a bit different because generally he is a very warm guy. But also Simon isn't spending nearly as much time with him so part of it is he just doesn't know him.
I do love Simon, Karen, and Foggy all bonding over their shared Insane experiences with Matt, though. Making digs at him playfully but also with some sincerity because. I mean. Karen and Foggy have obviously been incredibly hurt by Matt, and I imagine at some point the same will happen with Simon. So I like them being very close. They all do at their core like Matt but I think there's more of a... sweetness between the three of them.
I also think Foggy would heavily fuck with Rocky and Adrian. I think he probably wouldn't get the chance to meet them very often but he has definitely heard about them. Matt mentions them from time to time, and I think Simon would talk about them a lot. All three of their snappiness goes together really well. They like being (loving) assholes to their loved ones.
While I don't think he actively knows Ryland very well I do think he likes him. He's like "yeah the kinda weird relatively well adjusted ?boyfriend my *incoherent gibberish* is seeing. He's pretty cool. Good for Matt, I think. Maybe the combination of all of these people can pull him out of The Horrors. (they cannot)
I actually really need a Foggy, Adrian, and Rocky hang out now. Obsessed with that.
