as a polish person who's IQ is 3, i demand you tell me what marmite is. 🤠

the unholy trinity of -ites:

marmite: british yeast extract. disgusting. i’m 98% sure it’s bottled cow faeces mixed with old vinegar.

vegemite: australian yeast extract. fantastic. salty and delicious. WARNING to american youtubers attempting to make one of those “haha australian food is so weird” videos: if you shovel a whole goddamn ladle of vegemite onto your toast, ofc it’s gonna taste vile. it’s not nutella. self-control, guys.

promite: technically owned by the yanks in america, but mostly made and sold in australia. a heavenly vegetable extract. It’s sort of… sweet, sour and salty at the same time. Honestly i could eat it out of the jar.
