...on that note, ⭐Hailey and some system friends of ours have been cooking up a discord for disordered systems of all origins. All that is required to join is that your system is disordered (i.e. you have experienced trauma, dissociative episodes and/or amnesia in relation to your system) and you're respectful of other's beliefs about their system, even if you don't personally agree. Due to popular demand (that’s mostly just me and my friends being excited) the event is back! With another vaporware edit promo image to boot!
The rules of the AU have changed slightly due to certain things being fleshed out, so do read the description!
It’s long-winded, and has various warnings and things, so keep that in mind going in.
Speaking of warnings, if you don’t like body horror and frequent angst, feel free to blacklist the event tag.

Guide to the event effects:
Hamon:
- Hamon CAN hurt the person using it! A little bit of Hamon may feel tingly, like a little bit of static, but it can go to electrical burns if it’s powerful enough. It still has it’s healing properties, however, making the burns heal fairly quickly afterwards. It’s still incredibly uncomfortable.
- Hamon CAN be lost control over, though it makes the Hamon User have involuntary movements, and if overused, eventually can just destroy and burn their user, even with the healing properties - Of a certain power it could overpower the healing.
- Hamon CAN kill you - painfully - if overused. It’s not likely for people who only use it occasionally, but for people who definitely aren’t durable, or are just very powerful, it could shock you far too badly to be repaired. Be careful and weary of Hamon if you are a user! It’s all fun and games until somebody gets burnt to a crisp!
Vampires:
- Scratch them being animalistic. I know I said that they were before, but I hadn’t really thought about it.
- Vampires take a person’s desires and crank them to 11 over time. Whatever a person’s strongest emotions are get amplified once they become a vampire. If they want revenge, over time all they may be able to think of is revenge. If they want to get away from something, after a while they may be very prone to running away from things entirely.
- If hit by hamon, they may have clarity for a minute! Of course it hurts a lot, but their overwhelming want to fulfill their emotions may subside a bit. Not 100%, of course, but enough they can think somewhat clearly. However, if they’re too lost in the sauce they may end up unaffected! It depends on how far lost they are in their vampiric tendencies.
- Flesh buds are extremely effective on stands, keeping them in line.
- Since Pillar Men are like stronger vampires, they probably would have similar effects, however they probably would have a little more control over it.
Stands:
- Stands slowly take over their user’s body, body and mind. It will happen eventually. That’s needless to say if you’re already familiar with the blog and AU. However, there are more details now.
- Humanoid and animal-like stands have their own sentience. These stands have to deal with their user’s consciousness as well, and vice versa. The stand can take over the body if they are determined enough, however they have a harder time overall if their user has a strong fighting spirit.
- An object-like stand does not have an inherit consciousness! It’s more so the person wielding it. They have to deal with being a stand and themselves. It’s confusing, but it’ll happen. Yukako falls into this category, as her stand is in fact an extension of herself. (( A hair extension of herself :> ))
- Act stands, the progress of the stand is saved, the first act the user is mostly in control, the middle acts are somewhere in between, and the last act the stand is all the way in control.
- A fully manifested stand CAN destroy the consciousness of their user - only if they don’t like their user. If they like each other, the consciousness may be able to persist but only passively and vaguely in spirit in the back of the mind.
- There are stands that CAN be temporarily transmitted, if the stand requires another person for an ability, a piece of the stand gets placed on the person, but only special conditions make it permanent. Some special conditions include being revived by a vampire, or being healed by a stand while being given a temporary stand.
- Stands encourage other stands! Healing stands can make a stand manifest faster!

If something is too much, don’t be afraid to take a break! Missing a little bit of the event isn’t a problem, your mental and physical health is more important!
Don’t be afraid to say if a scenario is too upsetting for you! Addressing the issue is important, because as I said earlier, this AU is very sad sometimes, it gets very sad and upsetting very quickly because of how the infection works.
