One thing you should always remember about libertarians is that they hate facts. If they touch a fact, they die. Facts are to libertarians like water was to the Wicked Witch. What libertarians like are stories. Here’s what I mean: If you say “We should raise the minimum wage to a living wage so that companies have to pay their workers enough to afford their rent,” a libertarian will not reply with facts, but with a story. They will say: Ah, but if you do that the company will simply lay off a bunch of workers and unemployment will rise. Note that this is not empirical evidence. It is a tale. A prophecy. Because the actual empirical evidence is that this does not in fact happen, that “the number of jobs cost by minimum wage laws is negligible” and “they raise wages without much downside.” Go near a libertarian with this and they will scream as they melt.

(i had reposed something from this same channel a while ago so I went looking. this seems to be the main idea there so took a look. Looked like it was going to tax my little brain enough that u needed to pay attention so it was a while before i took the time. It wasn’t really necessary. Said it was 50 min he could have done it in ten, I tend to ramble too, so okay fine. )

On  first and second thought I should ignore this on third i may come back to it in the future. ( just looked as “show more”.. I wasted my time) (didn’t watch it all or looking for further explanation)

- You can’t legislate morality.  .    .  I get the sense they just going to let the judeo christian philosophy fill that part in. 

-The libertarian / ancap  ideas have and atomization problem. You have to have some sort of social structure the can propagate the core ideas from one gen to the next. The current ones are clearly corrupted.  Reversion is not Reformation.

How is free speech seen by those under thirty... twenty?  You can look at music. There seems to be a lot of new / experimentation which is good, but get too for down one of those rabbit holes and no one knows what your taking about. Repeat that over and over again across the culture on the common is lost. The ability to transmit the core ideas is lost

- Tyranny of the courts? Or those smart enough to manipulate them

- Culture is not race ant race is not culture. If a race of people where all born with out eyes then that would be a race trait the would be a very significant difference. The only differential race trait that matters is IQ. It’s only an effect of the environment and long term culture. If the cultural incentive change that will change to. The average IQ question of a given set of people, not necessarily a race, is important for governance and for what it is capable of.

He’s pretty flippant about how he talks about race. If some one where to say Africa or the Middle East where actually too stupid as a whole to adequately govern them selves, I am most of the way there. As a pretext to writing them off, and leaving them to whatever fate may befall them is pretty disgusting. 

There seems to be a good grasp of the deeper? picture. There are pieces missing, big ones.

Don’t use the word parasite when talking about people, not because it’s seen as antisemitic, it’s dehumanize period and inaccurate. Rent seeking?

3. Explain the SOLUTION:

   - Separate forever from the Left  

 - Separate nations, including a white supermajority nation (like a white version of Israel or Japan)   

- Leftism-proof and corruption-proof (parasitism-proof) government (propertarianism) featuring no no usury/debt-slavery, no third world immigration, no affirmative action

white isn’t the issue, or a defining ideal

In addition good luck holding on when the world is aligned against you. (what’s that about stupid people in large numbers) Japan and Israel aren’t likely around without the nation you want to separate.

Sounds like a recipe for chaos on top of chaos. We may get that anyway. Maybe it doesn’t matter how the table gets over turned?

Just days after a record high of 1820 daily covid deaths, it’s sickening to see the astroturfed “parents” lobby group UsForThem (run by one of Boris’s PR men, Ed Barker) pushing a new campaign on social media to reopen schools, to prevent, they cry, a 'lost generation'. What about the lost generation of nearly 100,000 so far who have died in the Covid Petri dish of conditions created by a decade of Tory policies? Read the room, UsForThem.

MPs like Esther McVey, Graham Brady and Ben Bradshaw want us to believe they are thinking of our mental health when they propose reopening the country, but their party has voted to cut mental health services for a decade. They care so much about the welfare of the most vulnerable children that they voted against free school meals, and they send their own kids to private school so they don’t have to mix with them. The politicians and media personalities who want to end the lockdown and reopen schools too early are the ones who have made the pandemic and future lockdowns a long term prospect in the UK. Crying about their freedom for clicks and talk radio listeners while making sure it all goes on further into the future.

For all the crocodile tears about mental health, children’s education and cancer patients, their agenda is clear. If we pretend everything is normal when it’s not, landlords like Richard Tice, Alan Sugar, Richard Desmond, the Reuben brothers and the Barclay family can carry on collecting rents on their commercial properties. Landlords are behind many of the UK’s problems, and some of the most deadly decisions - students being sent back to unis, the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, people living and working in overcrowded conditions - are directly down to the UK being run by and for landlords. And the same elite want to see the NHS overwhelmed so they have an excuse to privatise it.

The pandemic is the most extreme example yet of what happens in a country where most of the media acts as the propaganda arm of the Conservative Party. They’ll tell you they want to protect your children, your family, your culture or your job to get you on their side, but they will always treat you as expendable. Serfs on their land.

The acid-dropping hippie CEO had argued that technology could be a form of creative expression, and he convinced a generation of entrepreneurs that they should invent products that would improve the lives of their customers. This was the “‘bicycle for the mind’ value system,” says Roger McNamee, the founder of the venture-capital firm Elevation Partners, and it filtered into many of the most successful companies of the ’90s and ’00s.

Thiel despises the counterculture (he dates the precise beginning of American decline to Woodstock) and is contemptuous of the notion of creativity for its own sake. For Thiel, the purpose of founding a company is to control your own destiny. “A startup is the largest endeavor over which you can have definite mastery,” he wrote. A new generation of entrepreneurs, coming of age in the wake of the financial crisis, embraced his ideas. Thiel told them to flout norms and seek lucre, not impact. “Only one thing can allow a business to transcend the daily brute struggle for survival,” he wrote. “Monopoly profits.” Perhaps his single best student has been Mark Zuckerberg, who built a monopoly in his industry and used it to crush competitors and charge progressively higher fees to advertisers — all while telling the world that this essentially predatory behavior was a social good.

With Thiel’s encouragement, tech would “move fast and break things,” as the Facebook motto put it, and executives believed it was better to ask forgiveness than permission. The industry that developed would be defined by these clichés, convincing itself that “disruption” wasn’t just an unfortunate consequence of innovation but an end in itself. Thielism would show up even at companies where he was not an investor: at Juul, the e-cigarette company that marketed to children; at Robinhood, which tempted novice investors with volatile investment products; and at Uber, which paid drivers less than minimum wage and violated statutes with apparent glee.

McNamee, an early adviser to Zuckerberg who turned apostate and published Zucked: Waking Up to the Facebook Catastrophe, sees this recent history as an expression of Thiel’s values. As he put it to me, “The PayPal Mafia philosophy became the founding principle for an entire generation of tech companies.”

Under a consistently-applied property rights framework, the burning of fossil fuels is a form of theft, because U.S. actions are increasing the value of our property while damaging other people’s. Libertarian property frameworks often end up being more about “justice of the stronger” than about property rights. For its role in causing catastrophic climate change, the United States should actually owe a giant sum of “reparations” (or, to use a less controversial term for the same thing, “compensatory damages”) to the rest of the world. (Just as, if we believed in property rights, we would obviously have made reparations to the descendants of slaves, who have suffered long-term consequences of a giant historical act of theft in the form of a vast present-day wealth gap.) We do not actually believe in property rights, though, so fossil fuel companies will not have to pay damages for their willfully deceptive destructive acts, and the U.S. will continue to insist that emission restrictions are “for thee, not for me.”
