Neri di Bicci - The Annunciantion with Saints. Detail. 1458
Birth of Prophet Mohammed (p).
It was narrated that one day Abdullah, his father and brothers were out on a hunting trip when they came across a very big river that they haven't seen before. A voice instructed Abdullah to drink from it. Abdullah went to go drink, and it was sweeter than honey and colder than ice. After he drank from it, the river disappeared. Abdul-Mutalib and his sons were all amazed. Abdullah then went back to his house in a hurry and entered upon his wife Amina and she became pregnant with the Holy Prophet (sawa). It was narrated that Sayeda Amina (as) said: "When the birth of the Prophet neared, I saw a white creature flying; he put his wings on my heart and as a result, all my worries were gone. I was thirsty so he gave me a white drink - when I drank it, a very bright light appeared. I also saw women who were as tall as palm trees talking to me, but their language didn't resemble any language humans spoke. I then saw the east and the west of the entire world. I saw a flag on a pole made from ruby that was assembled behind the Kaaba. Then the Prophet (sawa) came out whilst pointing his finger to the sky. A cloud appeared and took the Prophet. I heard a caller say: "Take Muhammad around the world so that everything in existence can get to know him". He then returned to me wearing a white rob under a green cloth. Then another cloud appeared and it took him again, and I heard a caller say: "Take Muhammad around the world, and present him to My creatures from the Jin and Sons of Adam, and give him the fineness of Adam, the delicacy of Nuh, the solitude of Ibrahim, the tongue of Ismail, the perfection of Yousef, the glad tidings of Yaqoub, the voice of Dawoud, the asceticism of Yahya and the generosity of Issa". Then he was given back to me and he was holding a white silky cloth, then a caller said: "Muhammad has captured the entire world, nothing exists unless it's under his hand"
Then I saw three creatures whose faces were as bright as the sun. One of them had a cloth, where he uncovered a ring that I haven't seen the likes of it before. He washed that ring in water seven times, he then pressed it on the Prophet's shoulder and gave him his saliva and talked to him in a language I didn't understand until he said: "You are now under the protection of Allah. I have instilled belief, knowledge, confidence, logic and bravery in you. You are the best of creation. Touba for those that followed you, and Woe upon those that didn't believe in you". It was narrated that when the Prophet (sawa) was born, Jibreel and Mika'eel entered her house in a form of young humans. They took the Prophet (sawa) from Amina and washed him. Jibreel said to Amina: "O' Amina, we are not washing him from impurity, for he isn't impure. We are washing him from the darkness of your womb". After they washed him and wrapped him with clothes, Amina said: "I heard some sound at the front of my house, so Jibreel went to check the situation and he came back to me and said: 'All of the angels are here to send their salams to the prophet'. The house then became so big that it was able to hold all the angels. (Bihar al-Anwar, volume 15, pages 104 and 272; al-Fadail, page 19).
We shouldn't be quick to pass judgement
Thankfulness
Prophet David, upon him be peace, asked God Almighty: O’ Lord. How can I be thankful to You, since thanking You is another favor that requires thankfulness? The Almighty responded: Just now you have done it.

YOUR TRUTH
On Knowledge
Knowledge is the basis of every sublime state and the culmination of every high station, that's why it's said "Seek knowledge, though it be in China," meaning the knowledge of gnosis of the self, in it is contained knowledge of our idendity and belief. Know that a small amount of knowledge requires a great deal of action, because knowledge of the Hour, or our death, requires the person who has such knowledge to act accordingly during his entire life. Jesus has said, 'I saw a stone on which was written, "Turn me over", so I turned it over. Written on the other side was "Whoever does not act by what he knows will be doomed by seeking what he does not know, and his own knowledge will be turned against him." Muhammad has said, 'Whoever knows his own self knows his Lord; moreover, you should acquire that knowledge without which no action is correct, and that is sincerity ... We seek refuge with Allah (God) from knowledge which has no benefit', that is, from knowledge which is contrary to actions performed with sincerity. In an extract, David has said "And knowledge is the adornment of man in this world and the next" He who truly knows is the one in whom sound actions, pure supplications, truthfulness and precaution speak out; not his tongue, his debates, his comparisons, assertions or claims. In times other than these, those who sought knowledge were those who had intellect, piety, wisdom, modesty and caution; but nowadays we see that those who seek it do not have any of these qualities. The man of knowledge needs intellect, kindness, compassion, good counsel, forbearance, patience, contentment and generosity; while anyone wishing to learn needs a desire for knowledge, will, devotion (of his time and energy), piety, caution, memory and resolution. Becoming Choristers of the Spirit
St Gregory of Nyssa refers to the Holy Prophet David, composer of the Psalms, as a leader of a spiritual choir in his homily "On the Holy Spirit, or On Pentecost":
For these reasons it is a good that we, having become choristers of the Spirit, follow the lead of the chief of the spiritual dance corps, David, who says, "Come, let us rejoice in the Lord!"
