balcony garden got some upgrades this weekend (not pictured: new plant shelf that im still playing around with)
included some close up pics of my experiment jars. yes, they are just jars that i stuck weeds in. yes, there are more that arent pictured. when life gives you plants, stick them in a jar.
also would argue that bamboo counts as a weed in my area shhh dont tell the bamboo lovers
page 182 - this is what a tree line looks like from a distance. You know there are going to be so many mushrooms on that forest floor.
But as you run towards the forest, anticipating the mushrooms and the high, you don’t get closer. Instead the horizon is rolling and rolling out beneath your feet. You want to get there so badly but the trees are only growing taller not closer. they’re too tall now, the space below them is going to be windswept and dry, can the fruiting bodies of the mushrooms even grow in that environment?
or have you already eaten the mushrooms. Me. Have I?

Nov 22, 2019 …. Meet the spiderette swamps. They have earned the title as a swamp purely on the basis of how many there are. These little children are undergoing water propagation to grow roots, so they travel to where there is some sun. My cat loves observing them, so they rarely come closer to my desk because he has been trying to go for them. A few of them are starting to show little roots so there is some progress being made! I am so excited to pot these guys soon and build a little jungle of them on my bookshelf.
HELP!
I need help identifying these succulent leaves, I know that on here there are jade plant and pork & beans, but I have litteraly no idea about anything else. Please comment if you know what one is :)
