i thought i would be safe there since theyre "anti harassment", but instead they harass me for having delusions that my ocs are real people. they even called me saneist slurs

as much as i dont like antis either, some proshippers are just as bad. "fiction never affects reality" is such a saneist way of thinking, fiction does affect psychotic folks like me and were tired of being denied. what you need to say is "what people draw/write/whatever of fiction based characters is none of your business as long as its not harming real people/creatures", at least it doest sound ableist

i genuinely dont care what people write about fictional characters in the least, regardless if theyre coping with their own trauma or just having fun, but some proshippers need to stop being so ableist and anti psychotic

There is a lot of ableism from the proship community.

Please note this is about the community, and not the stance of it, I do not really focus on, nor do I care about labeling shipping stances myself as my view on fiction is very nuanced.

Saying things like "fiction doesn't affect reality" is 1. exclusionary to those with delusions and others, and 2. dangerous to representation.

This blog has no official shipping stance as either group can be ableist or experience ableism.

Being kicked put of a server because I was being "disgusting" for describing my looks as a late elementary/early middle school age kid who went through an early puberty as "a poorly drawn loli with hyper tits" because thats the only words I could think of to describe MY OWN BODY AS A CHILD DUE TO EARLY PUBERTY.

(This was in a proship rpf (real person fiction) server that allowed rpf incest shipping btw)

I personally don’t like shipcourse, I used to be in the proship community and ended up in dangerous situations, and also used to be in the antiship community which I never really felt I fit in.

I find it so bizarre that they draw the line at someone talking about themselves in a way they consider “disgusting”, meanwhile they talk about other real people in a way that many would consider “disgusting”.

Saw a proshitter say that they view Kris as a girl and thus use she/her for them cause fiction doesn’t affect reality so misgendering a fictional character is harmless.

This was also in a paragraph justifying why they shipped Queen and Kris.

kinda wanna genuinely ask proshippers what’s so hot about incest ships and adults x minors. like genuine actual question. would it be different if the characters were from live action? what makes l0li/sh0ta different from real life children if they’re very clearly kids drawn in a specific art style just like the adults from that same media. like i have so many questions and i need to know without the classic proship “it’s hot lol :3” with no other explanation. do you not think deeper about why you find this thing appealing? about what draws you to those themes? especially if you don’t have trauma surrounding it. idk. i’m crazy i fear
