i’m honestly not a big fan of the protagonist switch theory tbh…. i liked it in v3 because it was something new. but i don’t really know who i would want as a protagonist besides hajime. also because it feels to meta for me a lot of the time.
Why has nobody suggested Protagonist Mikan yet she's got everything we need
A committed fanbase? Check. Smart? Check. An interesting potential character arc? Check. Messy hair that could easily form an ahoge and nobody would question it? Check.
I'm personally a big fan of a potential Nagito antagonist but Mikan seems kinda fun too
The game has two protagonists.
One who deals with the Daily Life, and the other who takes over during Deadly Life.
(While they could share POV's during the Prologue, there could also be a third decoy protagonist we follow who, at the end of the Prologue, tries to rebel against the mascot only to be killed, leading to the POV switch.)
