I really like Ford protecting Stan. 

Ford protecting Stan from a big bad sea monster. Ford protecting Stan from slipping on black ice. Ford protecting Stan from the wind by acting as a block and walking in front of him. Ford protecting Stan from spoilers about the remake of The Duchess Approves. I don’t care how Ford protects Stan, I just love the big-brother aspect of “I’ve gotta look out for him,” going to Ford.

Especially because we see Stan so bent on protecting Ford all over the show, from when they were kids to adulthood and old man age. But watching it be reversed? And Ford works to protect his little brother instead? And Stan getting all “Hey, only ‘little’ by 15 minutes, I don’t need protection, I’m a grown man!” But Ford saying he wants to protect Stan, he wants to be there for him finally, and Stan feeling that warmth of hey, I finally got my brother back is all I want.

So Ford protects Stan from mismatched socks and siren songs and bad weather. I love protective!Ford.

Okay guys, so...luckily this isn’t my original drawing. I copied it to experiment with sharpie. It went well until I...got...to coloring there face. One was supposed to be peach, but it was too dark and the other was a light pink. Now, Stan looks like he’s got a sunburn and Ford looks like Donald Trump. GAH!...I’ll try again later.
