"A Crown of Beauty for Ashes" 👑

On the eve of William's wedding day, one of the editors at The Sun stated that William knows what's required of him by birth, but he's going to do it on his own terms.

The world can see a beautiful redemptive thread at work in William's story. If Diana, his mother, were here----her heart would be bursting with pride and joy as her eldest son, against all odds, endeavors to make wise family choices.

"Start a youth out on his way; even when he grows old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

"Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble." (Proverbs 13:20)

"If they don't know how to control their own families, how can they look after God's people?" (1 Timothy 3:5)

William's family life and lifestyle brings hope and healing to those who cherished his mother, his grandparents and their legacies.

Isaiah, a Jewish prophet wrote:

"I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners." Isaiah 57:18

"To give them beauty for ashes (a crown of Beauty), The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” -Isaiah 61:3

Obviously Isaiah was speaking to a nation of people, however redemption is G-d's handiwork observed in every biblical story. It's proof that our Creator sees that we are but dust and in spite of our failings, He's always pursuing us with His love, His comfort, and crowning us with His beauty for our ashes.
