I know how important it is for me to be able to rely on my husband. I depend so much on him. Help me to be as dependable to him as I expect him to be to me...

TRUSTWORTHY

THE HEART OF HER HUSBAND DOTH SAFELY TRUST IN HER SO THAT HE SHALL HAVE NO NEED OF SPOIL.  --Proverbs 31:11

Thank You Lord, for designing a husband and wife to have a real need for each other. It's comforting to know that You made my husband while considering my needs, and made me while considering his. Together, we are fulfilled in a special way which we could not experience alone.

Let me start to build this aspect of virtue first at home. Help me to love my husband and submit to him as I submit to You, allowing him to see through my submission that my love is true and that he can trust me implicitly.

Sometimes I forget he is as much in need of my support as I am in need of his. I need to remember that he is a deeply emotional person.

Help me to be the person he turns to with his deepest thoughts and feelings. Help me to always be loving and sympathetic when he expresses himself to me. Please let him never be afraid to share his most tender concerns.

Teach me how to be sensitive--and yet strong and courageous of heart, so that he can feel absolute faith in me. Help him not to be afraid to share secrets he could never share with anyone else, knowing I would not break his confidence in me.

I know how important it is for me to be able to rely on my husband. I depend so much on him. Help me to be as dependable to him as I expect him to be to me.

Let my trustworthiness be a great comfort to him everyday...for the rest of our lives.
