A Career Superhero assigned to the Anchorage chapter of the Protectorate, Cask triggered as a potion tinker after spending years fruitlessly attempting to research and cure his own chronic health problems. Cask can manufacture healing salves and combat drugs beyond human comprehension.... but his own medical conditions never really went away, forcing him into dependence on his own supply.

This week, on loan from the Blastweave Museum- the first three fanworks I created for Parahumans- Tecton, Snubnose and Khonsu. Accordingly, they look like poorly conceived fever dreams. Except Tecton. Tecton I still kinda like.

(If you’re trying to remember when Snubnose appeared in Worm, you aren’t being gaslit- she didn’t. She’s from PRT quest, an old Spacebattles- based write-in campaign that Wildbow did. Despite having produced 90 percent of the fanart for it I haven’t actually read it- I just got a description from the wiki and thought the armor sounded cool.)

(actual reasons to read PRT Quest: it's a forum adventure about being a mere mortal managing a team of superheroes. the premise is cool enough, but also it's by the author of Worm and set in the same universe (although it's a distinct and spoiler-free story). there are super good characters and also there is Feint, in case you haven't felt the urge to reach into your computer screen and strangle someone to death enough lately.)
