‘Hey, what’s his name?’

‘Uh, Deaton calls him Derek.’

‘Derek? You’re kidding. Derek is a people name. Scott,’ Stiles gestured at the crate, ‘he’s not people.’

‘Yeah, well, I tried calling him ‘Mister Fluffy Pants’ one time and he shredded my favourite shirt,’ Scott sighed as he slung his backpack over one shoulder. ‘So maybe just stick with Derek.’

Review: This fic cracks me up. There are lots of Derek stuck as a dog but this is the only one I’ve read where he’s stuck as a cat. And he’s still perfectly in character. PsychicPineapple makes him sassy and a bit of a dick without giving him any dialogue at all. That’s good writing in my opinion. I’ve read it a couple of times and it always makes me smile. And there’s a sequel if you need more.
