Sara Chidouin
Diagnosis: PTSD (headcanon)
Propaganda:
"Sara Chidouin from Your Turn To Die experiences hallucinations after her friend dies- thinking PTSD?"
Protagonist
Diagnosis: Psychosis (Canon)
Propaganda:
"You play the game as a voice inside her head, helping her do tasks such as go to the store or catch her thoughts. She canonically hallucinates and is one of the best psychotic representations I've ever seen. I had to put the game down for a minute because it was so visceral and real."

Hal 9000
Diagnosis: Schizophrenia (headcanon)
Propaganda:
"He is canonically described as developing what would be called psychosis in human terms, specifically schizophrenia. He was given orders that conflicted with his very being and was unable to accommodate both, and developed paranoid symptoms that were directed against those monitoring his performance back on Earth. He started imagining a fault in the antenna unit and attempted to break the radio link with mission control."
Dr. Rose Cotter
Diagnosis: Brief Psychotic Disorder (headcanon)
Propaganda:
"From the link you gave, Brief Psychotic Disorder. In the movie, she's affected by an entity that causes hallucinations and feeds on trauma, and the curse of this entity is passed through traumatizing another person (usually with the cursed one killing themselves in front of another). I chose Brief Psychotic Disorder because the entity ends possessing the person and making them kill themselves after, like, a week, so she doesn't reach the one month threshold of the other diagnosis. Even with the whole "demonic entity that feeds on trauma" schtick, this movie has a really good and realistic representation of mental illness, which is surprising for a horror movie. It shows specially the struggle of people ignoring what she thinks and believes because of her situation and trying to help her in the way they think it's best."

Rena Ryuugu
Diagnosis: BPD (Headcanon)
Propaganda:
"I'll be real I'm probably not schizospec but I know schizospec people relate to her."
"Definitely BPD and suffers paranoid delusions"
Keichi Maebara
Diaganosis: Psychosis (canon)
Propaganda:
"He has hallucinations. He is convinced he almost ate a needle (even if the needle never existed). When his friends Rena and Mion try to write something on his shirt with a pen, he doesn't see a pen but a syringe. He also has formication (the feeling of bugs crawling under his skin). He is paranoid. He is convinced that he is the target of a conspiracy and that the entire village wants to eliminate him. Even when his friends try to take care of him and cheer him up, he is convinced they are trying to kill him. I think it counts as delusion."

Futaba Sakura
Diagnosis: PTSD (headcanon)
Propaganda:
"Futaba Sakura from Persona 5 experiences hallucinations and delusions that her dead mother and relatives are berating her. Fandom forgets this but I sure as fuck aren’t. Probably PTSD."
Idia Shroud
Diagnosis: Schizospec (Headcanon)
Propaganda:
"He's just like me fr. Too anxious to leave his room and the paranoia is so real. He's schizospec. To me"
Psychotic Blorbo Battle: Ichiro Umoregi (Akuma Kun 2023) Vs Vivia Twilight (Master Detective Archives: Raincode)

Ichiro Umoregi
Diagnosis: Schizotypal (headcanon)
Propaganda:
"This guy is definitely neurodivergent in some way and I choose to believe he's schizo. Hear me out. Hear me out okay. Even removing the supernatural setting, Ichiro has so many qualities that I relate to as a schizospec person myself. Being unable to fit in with his peers (humans), preferring non-humans, having the "wrong" reactions, having a ton of trouble understanding others- and then you bring back the supernatural setting. Characters who can see ghosts are just. Soooo coded to me."
Vivia Twilight
Diagnosis: Schizotypal (headcanon)
Propaganda:
"He fits so many little boxes. Vivia has interests that other characters find odd (his fascination with death), behaviors that are found odd (Sleeping in uncomfortable spots like fireplaces and under pianos), his speech is much slower than the others and he doesn't talk very much unless he's very passionate about what he's saying, he's super isolated and has a hard time making and keeping friends. He doesn't really approach anybody to make connections with them, but when they approach him? He seems super happy. It's hard to tell because he doesn't emote a lot, at most little smiles or deadpan stares, but he's definitely happy when people reach out to him and talk about books. He has also seen ghosts since he was a kid I think, and that fucked up his life a lot. Metaphor!!!! I also think he'd love the book No Longer Human, which is a popular favorite for people on the schizospectrum, I've found"

Harrowhawk Nonagesimus
Diagnosis: Schizophrenia [canon(?)]
Propaganda:
"Its never explicitly stated what exactly she has going on, but she does have hallucinations, delusions, may have some form of personality thing going on cause one time a character asks of she's harrow or someone else and seems to be 100% serious about that question, and a few other things I can't remember at the moment.
Unrelated to that, she's also a necromancer, is made of 900 babies, and is such a massive nerd that she can't even lift a rapier."
"Tamsyn Muir is herself schizophrenic and has described Harrow as being psychotic. She has hallucinations and has done since she was a small child. She can often struggle to know what is real and what is hallucination and can sometimes need to rely on others, especially when she is not with anyone she trusts who can help her (unfortunately this is most of the series). She is also baby. She tries to be threatening but she’s like four feet tall so it doesn’t go anywhere. She’s a goth nun fervently devoted to not god but the corpse in her basement who is also Satan and also Barbie (and also not actually a corpse just sleepy)."
"she canonically has schizophrenia!"
Josh Washington
Diagnosis: Schizophrenia [Canon]
Propaganda:
"canonically schizophrenic, though misdiagnosed with major depressive disorder (or at least comorbid, with schizophrenia undiagnosed & untreated). exhibits auditory & visual hallucinations, delusions (mainly persecutory & grandiose in nature, in combination with thought insertion), and disorganized speech (odd speech patterns, incoherence)"
