I will say, what is a headcannon is that everyone refers to the Thunderbird dorm as “the Roost”. “The Den” for Wampus, probably something cool like “the Nest” for Horned Serpent, and no one really knows how Puckwudgies (the animals) work so Puckwudgie Dorm goes by pretty much anything and Puckwudgie aren’t really particular enough to complain about that

A man was going for a walk with his dog. He walked his dogs on an old power line trail. He was pretty far out when his dog got a bit jumpy acting afraid. He looked down to see what was up with his dog, when he looked back up he saw a small hairy creature looking at him. Then it started to talk. “Keer, Keer,’ewant chu!” It kept repeating this. Then he put his hand out to me. Finally it dawned on me what he was really saying, it was, “come here, come here, we want you, or maybe he wants you.” Like maybe there was a leader somewhere. Then when it turned to lead I ran away as fast as I could.

observation: hogwarts has no tuition.
conclusion: hogwarts is technically a public school.
observation: british public schools have uniforms.
observation: hogwarts has uniforms.
observation: american public schools don’t have uniforms (but they do have dress codes).
observation: we’ve been told ilvermorny’s school colors, but nothing of their uniform.
observation: pottermore has an image of the two sons wearing matching cloaks in the school colors.
hypothesis: ilvermorny has a dresscode, but doesn’t have actual uniforms besides the cloak pictured below.
