hi! I was just wondering how I would go about starting commissions? Cause wove been thinking about it for a while now but don’t know how to go about it, also if you think my art is even good enough for comms lol. Feel free to ignore this but I know you do commissions and wanted advice 😋
HI HELLO!! Starting commissions is a great idea, you should definitely look into it! Your art for sure is good enough and I would pay for that shit!!!
What I did back in the day was to look at other people's commission sheets to compare the prices they were asking for and see if I would be willing to pay that amount for their art.
The hardest part for me was to set a price for my stuff. I started with asking like 10 dollars for a piece which is way too litte so don't do that mistake. Take in account how much time it takes you to draw the piece and how much your effort is worth yk?
Also set up a paypal account if you don't have one already. That's the preferred way people use to pay from what I've seen.
Oh and don't let people take advantage of you. Ask for payment before making all of that effort to finish a piece. I personally ask for payment after the client approves the sketch. So in case they dip you haven't spent hours on a piece!!
