My dad was a vet, and I did some secretary work for him in high school, and it got me thinking: do any of you have favorite speaking patterns from patients? I always loved hearing from a gal who's voice was the definition of smokey, and there was a lovely little somewhat wheezy hispanic lady. Do any of you have favorites like that?

Finally. Some good opinions about Abby! I think a lot of people missed the key emotion of the first game is love, and what we'll do for it. The central emotion here, to be the other side of that coin, is hate and what it will take from you.

yeah i mean of course they could have taken it the same route as the last but hate is a very human emotion and i think naughty dog did an incredible job of exploring that through the narrative and the game definitely makes you uncomfortable with the things you are doing sometimes but its very real and esp when you find out by the end of the game that ellie was robbed of the reconciliation she planned to have with joel.. like fuck how far would you personally go to hurt the people that wronged you? how far did abby go to make her fathers killer pay? maybe the light isnt at that end of the tunnel like youd think

I'm wary about happymoomin/cottage too. The one time I asked if her posts about "females" included trans women I was ignored till I sent asks, and then it immediately became "of course I think trans women are women. Do you not?? Hmmmm sounds like YOU'RE the terf!" She may mean well but it's not a good look. I'm hoping it's just the thoughtlessness that happens when you're younger tho

Yikes. That seems to be her go to response. I’m not sure why she treats that as some “gotcha” as opposed to just owning up to these things. Objectively, I can see why some might consider it a harmless mistake but I have based my opinions on her actions and things like what you and other people have mentioned. Also, that would be nice but she is in her late 20s actually....
