This car was built in 1955 by Pullman-Standard as Southern Pacific commuter bi-level galley coach 3701 ( SP Class 85-MLC-1 ), later Transcisco Tours 800534 named DONNER LAKE, to BNA 32 in 1994, becoming BNSF 41, retaining the BN name but losing this attractive paint scheme.

Number 2213 was built by Pullman - Standard in 1947 as AT&SF 905, named INDIAN FLUTE, as a 24 Duplex Roomette Sleeper, rebuilt in 1964 to 11 Bedroom Sleeper, was sold to Amtrak, renumbered to 2213, retired by Amtrak in July 1981.
