Directed by Alfredo Salazar, who also wrote the Aztec Mummy trilogy (and its many variants) and some El Santo movies - what a CV! - is sometimes called the "Mexican Ed Wood" -- or maybe Ed Wood is the "North American Alfredo Salazar"!
