Oh! There's also hoopa! They're how I got here! Speaking of..." Mew's expression changed to one of anger, her fist making contact with her palm, psychic energy manifesting around their hands, "I'm going to have to have a talk with him when I get back..." It's clear Mew has a temper and can be scary when she wants to be, though her expression reverted back to its gleeful default, the psychic energy dissipating, Celebi may not be the only unpredictable one...

After a hasty (and somewhat apologetic) farewell to the gallade, Hendrik scans the ballroom for Jasper. He spots him pacing around and quickly approaches him.

Jasper!

Ah, Hendrik. What is the matter? You seem more… scattered? Than usual.

I wish to speak to you-

Is that not what we are doing right now? Jasper can’t help but smirk at Hendrik’s annoyed expression.

In private.

The Yveltal nods, patting Hendrik’s shoulder. Ah, if you wanted me to yourself, you need not only ask. His hand trails down Hendrik’s chest suggestively and his grin is… intimate.

R-Right. Hendrik feels his body stiffen and his face heat up slightly. Will that gazebo work? He points out the door and into the grounds.

That is fine with me. He can sense some of Hendrik’s nerves, I shall meet you out there when you’re ready. Jasper strolls out the door, only turning back to send Hendrik a wink.

Hendrik paces slightly, lost in thought. He barely notices when he bumps into someone-

Oh! My sincerest apologies. He stands somewhat awkwardly, hoping that they will start the conversation…

Hm, companions… He hesitates, pondering the Shaymin’s words. Of course there’s Jasper, he smiles slightly at the Yveltal’s name. He has been by my side since I became a god. And, recently, there’s been Sarah, Artemis, and Athena…

He doesn’t notice a zoroark join them until they speak,

The Cobalion lets out a booming laugh, the first laugh anyone at the gala has (most likely) heard from him. I don’t suppose you have met Jasper? He is perfectly capable on his own… Yes, Jasper and I see each other as equals. I am his shield and he is my sword… We fight together, alongside one another…

He glances out at the gazebo, where you can see Jasper alone.

(shaymincafe) Pumpkin @ Finn: You are not cursed. It is understandable that you would fear becoming like your mother, and the fact that you recognize it as a possibility shows you're already on the right path to avoid that. But in order to stop hurting those you care about, you will have to learn how to manage your anger. It won't be easy, but you have the ability. Unless you make the effort to learn and grow, you will not see change.

Finn looked over at the Shaymin, just the tiniest bit of hope glimmering in his green eyes, "I...I- you sound like you know what your saying is true and I hope you're right."

He shuffled his paws and drew in a few deep breathes to steady his hammering heart. "I've tried to get more help before...asked mom if I could go to the humans and see if there was a medication to help, ya know? Cause I think I'm bipolar." The Yamper sniffled and fought off the tears again, "She wouldn't listen. But Addy and Keahi care and maybe soon I can get more help. I'll keep trying to fix my temper...it can be so hard sometimes...but I do want to get better."

After a moment he looked at Pumpkin again and nodded in determination, "I will get better."

Nick’s eyes dilated briefly at the thought. He answers with a big smile. “Peanut butter cups! Oh how I drool at the thought of them...” Nick wipes his mouth with his arm, and then slows down, thinking for a second, thinking he’s seen this Shaymin before. Nick’s face suddenly gives a pleasantly surprised look. “Oh hey! You gave me those pumpkin candies, didn’t you? They were pretty good! Far better than the storebought ones I usually get. You make them yourself?”

Nick smiles widely with closed eyes and a slight rightward head tilt. “My name’s Nick by the way! How about you? We should totally get to know one another!”
