‘What is Beauty?’ by Anna Ginsburg
This week we’ve been honoured to be invited to run the instagram account of the awesome Punanimation group- ‘ a community of over over 2000 women, trans and non-binary friends from all over the world, working within the many different fields and specializations of animation and motion graphics.’
In keeping with the theme, we wanted to share this thought provoking piece by a very talented director, Anna Ginsburg. “What is Beauty?” was commissioned by CNN for international Women’s day. The animation follows the ever changing definition of the word through constant morphing of the female form, urging the audience to reflect what it means in today’s culture. Happy Friday!
