1. What’s your favourite monster? 

i love leshen so much. their design is gorgeous, i love their semi-sentience, and i love the ambiance in the fights with them (though i wish i didn’t have to fight them). if only they were real so that they could stop some of the more needless urban development going on smh

2. What’s your least favourite monster?

fuck a water hag, honestly. i mean, not literally.... lmao uh, i respect their grind, but their tactics are kinda cheap. like, mud balls? really? i hate the blinding effect and i hate fighting them. honorable mention goes to rotfiends 🤢

7. What did you do “in the Heart of Woods” and “the Nithing”?

made the pact with the leshen, ofc 🥰 sven’s vibes are absolutely rancid, besides. though, in my second playthrough, i did the opposite just to see what it would be like. would still side with harald in any subsequent ones.

lothar and jonna are both shit for what they did. but, to me, the lesser evil is to turn the curse on to jonna to kill her. yes, 10 years is a long time to have spent with someone for them to leave you, but, jonna, you do not have to kill their fucking son as retribution. and for that, i do not believe that she deserves to have lothar back, loveless as it would be. nor do i think it right for the mother and son to be cast into poverty. it’s a whole mess of a situation, honestly. i always walk away from it feeling gross.

12. What is your least favourite main quest and why?

at the risk of sounding trite, this is genuinely a hard question to answer because i do love them all very much. i think that the novigrad section is the dullest because i’m not a particular fan of the characters featured in it. the quests are also too mundane in the sense that they deal with more earthy matters aka no magic. that said, i definitely don’t hate the novigrad chapter, but when you compare it to, say, the skellige one? yeah...

36. Did you take Iris’ rose?

the first time i did not, no. i really felt iris’ fear and thought it more potent than her sadness. i think i would prefer to live in sadness than oblivion (though she also could have gone off to something better--who can say) also liked the idea of sticking it to olgierd by only giving him the painting scrap :’)

I finally have free tiiiime and am still obsessed with Rainin and Ves (they are so cute), so if you have a moment tell me all about Rainin (particularly any head canons about appearance) and I will attempt to paint them and Ves on a date?

When my brain first cooked up Rainin, I pictured them being quite a bit younger than the other Scoia’tael. Like, not a kid, but the equivalent of an early twenty-something human. Physically, I pictured them with really blue eyes, brownish-red hair, and a bit taller than Ves - perfect for forehead kisses without anyone having to stand on tip-toes or bend over.

Although, if you've got anything in mind, I'm excited to see how you pictured them. The only physical characteristic I gave Rainin was the blue eyes.

Oliver shuffled through the heavy mud on the Quidditch pitch, following his team to the locker room after another grueling fall match. Playing in the minor leagues meant playing whenever people would show up to buy tickets. He was starting to wonder if their fans loved the game almost as much as he did.

“Wood! A word!”

Through the cacophony of sound behind the press barrier, Oliver could make out a dozen voices seeking his attention or one of his teammate’s, hoping to get an interview in before the end of the scrimmage against a major league team. When one called out to his captain, Karla Vance, she ignored them in favor of the seclusion of the locker room. Oliver followed suit. A young witch scrambled to each player to assess any injuries that needed immediate attention and dried the robes of each player she passed so they wouldn’t catch cold sitting in the room for the halftime review.

“The Bats are playing for keeps today,” Karla said at the front of the room. “So instead of Drill 4 we’re going with Drill 7 for the second half…”

The time spent with his aching legs resting on a locker room bench passed too quickly. Oliver stood with his team both feral to get back on the field and apprehensive at what this game could mean for all of their careers. Walking back through the gateway was more peaceful since the reporters had migrated back onto the field in order to not miss any of the action. The crowd’s rumble grew again the further they walked from the muffling charms, but he could still make out individual voices.

“…abysmal. If Wood keeps this up then it’s disaster for us, mate.”

“Shut up, Cass, you’re just sore you didn’t bet on his team to win.”

For all his muscle soreness Oliver felt a lightness spread across his body as he realized Marcus Flint not only had shown in this wretched weather like he promised but had bet on his team to win...and he was certain he wasn’t supposed to ever know that.

The second half of the game proved even more exciting than the first, the Glasgow Kelpies trouncing the Ballycastle Bats with no small amount of help from their ferocious Keeper.

I get the occasional night where I need to put my lamp on it’s dimmest setting. Feather: How long do you usually sleep for?This can be anything from 4-10 hours, really.
