A sea serpent puppet prototype that’s custom made for a furry puppetry workshop at Anthrocon! They’re going to blow it up until the head is about 4-5 feet long with 5 body segments. Look for it in the Fursuit parade!

made of foam from an old chair and felt from the craft store…the eyes are painted wooden half-spheres from micheal’s. if anyone has tips for smoother felt patterning around the wrist/neck area let me know!!

Beyond the Sock Puppetry Workshop
One of the coolest things I have ever done--and to think I almost passed up this opportunity! Puppetry is very hard, but we had FANTASTIC instructors. I met some really great people this week, and I'm sad that the experience has ended. Hopefully the workshop will happen again next year. I would gladly take it again, because they were hoping to have an "advanced" session for the people who took it this year.
With our two puppet manipulation instructors: Noel MacNeal & Peter Linz. Awesome, down-to-earth guys. Super sweet, too. :) By the way, that's the rat puppet I made (with help, of course!)
