Happy Wednesday everyone! Week 6 is here and this week I'm sampling a delicious Colombia Finca La Paz, a direct trade micro lot from @purebeanroasters in South Dakota. I highly recommend you try these guys out! Not only is the coffee great but Nick who does a lot of their roasting was a great guy to talk with! The coffee as I said earlier is quite delicious. Very nutty sweet aromatics of hazelnut or salted nuts turn to hints of caramel during the brew process. I brewed using a V60 dripper. Notes of hazelnut and even sweet pepper in the cup. I'm definitely excited to see how this will taste using other methods throughout the week.
