I tried and tried and tried to get a shot of the heather in the light of the setting sun that I was happy with. I like how it illuminates the heather and really emphasizes the purple colour, but I found it really difficult to get what I wanted. Counting my blessings (Explored) by Christine Sinclair Via Flickr: Hows everyone doing on... is it Day 3 now? Losing track of the days now. To be honest I havn't been out much anyway these past few week, sitting out all the relentless rainy and stormy days. The sun coming out has lifted my spirits this week and I will shortly go out on my allocated walk. I feel lucky to have a garden plus fields and meadows near me. The painting is not easy, I spent a large part of yesterday watching tutorials followed by an aborted attempt, its really not easy. But finally ... I produced this, purple heather in the forest with mist in the background. Ha ha I wish!
