I visited my good friend @reggieart at the historic #Lincolnbeach location on #LakePontchartrain in #neworleans east and it was quite an experience to enjoy the lake in such a way. It was like a little hidden magical village or something. It was great energy to help me fight the apathy and exhausting I've been feeling these dog days of #purplesummer. It was one thing to hear Reggie's passion for his efforts to clean the site, but to also see the effect that it has on the people who frequent there made it so much more real. I really hope the community is able to continue the development and the city invests in turning the historic black beach site into a lakefront park.
