“I may not have given you what you wanted, but I gave you everything you needed ~ 2017” Lori Harder These words really hit home this morning. Truth be told as 2018 rang in this morning, I was feeling overwhelmed, happy, sad and excited about this last year and truly feeling a deep sense of direction about what 2018 will bring! As human being that lives in a world of possibilities I AM always moving towards something that I feel is better than where I AM, not always in the way I would like but the way I AM meant to so that I can learn how to be a better version of me. That starts with being in the present moment of right NOW. The most important lessons I have ever learned in life and still learning and do my best to remind myself of constantly are: Be grateful for what I got not matter what’s going on. Treat others how I want to be treated even when they don’t do the same in return. Trusting that God and the universe have my back no matter what. Having perseverance is the only way to get through anything and I always come out stronger on the other side. And the stories I tell myself everyday all day will create my reality. Sometimes my story narratives are filled with happiness and other times with sadness and being grateful for both them is the real gift. I choose to travel down this path of enlightenment and it’s my perspective that allows me to trust that I AM fully supported in all that I do, even when it taste like a shit sandwich. Moments like today when I caught 11:11 as I was working on my vision for 2018 always Iet me know I AM on the right path. Are You Getting Lost To Find Yourself? I found this journal entry this morning that I wrote on 6-27-15. It has been an amazing two weeks. I have driven about 1200 in my truck from LA->Vegas->Death Valley->Yosemite->Sequoia-> Home and then flew to La->The Big D. I have camped, hiked, mountain bike both states, mediated, had great convo’s, played golf, around the world in a pool, grilled out, trained, coached two people, picked up to possible new clients, meet new people, connected with old, prayed, connected with God on a deeper level shed some tears and lifted people up, started training on new a deep understanding of what true unconditional love is. What I have found is that the road less traveled by most both internally and externally have all lead to the same place & where it means the most. A place where I have to surrender to myself and allow the space in between thoughts, pray and meditate. To open up my life to the fact that I totally and unconditionally love myself. Even if….. I have made a bunch of mistakes in my life(with more to come), been hurt, burned, trespassed against my will, naive, scared, frightened, lost, lonely and any other adjective one can come up with. Even if…... I have loved someone who hasn’t love me back in the same way. Even if my heart has been shattered, blended and broken more times than I can count. Being on the open road with only a few around if any at all is a place where I feel most connected to God, the infinite, mother earth, spirit, love and light, and to my soul. We all are fighting a battle in some way shape or form. I love you because I love me first. I am grateful for all good bad and indifferent that have happened to lead me to this point in my life. A place that even when there is chaos on in or around me I still know that I totally and unconditionally love myself even if no else does.
