Relationship dynamics:

Person A: Unreasonably loyal to a degree that they allow themselves to be seriously harmed. Don’t think much of it because that’s how they live life. 

Person B: Tolerates Person A. Used to see them frequently but after Person A got themselves seriously hurt for Person B’s sake, Person B lives with such overwhelming guilt that it develops into constant avoidance as well as an unshakable bond of debt to Person A.
