Hey - so, pretty much, basically I said nothing to that effect. In fact, I'm pretty sure I explicitly said that I own up to the fact that sometimes I messed up. Sometimes I wasn't on my game. And in those instances, I specifically said that I understood why my tips were low. My article wasn't written about those times. Before you blast me, and call me names, please be sure to have actually read what I wrote. Thank you.

The section titled "Tips are dependent upon how well you do. That’s what TIPS means. ‘To Insure Proper Service." speaks to exactly what I commented about. Tips DO depend on how well you do. 

And I did NOT call you any names. I read the post multiple times before I commented on it as well.

Ok, so call me a classist pigfucker all you want (thanks for that, by the way) but there's nowhere in this country where fast food or a grocery store with a hot line isn't just as readily available for the I HAVE TO EAT NOW moments as a full service restaurant. You get your food faster and cheaper. It's not as much an entitlement thing as much as it just is asking people who dine in to be aware that they make-or-break the employees paycheck. Is it fair? No. Is it reality? Yes. :(

Yeah, I'm really gonna go 20 blocks or more out of my way, on foot because I don't have a car (or else wait a fucking half an hour to go by bus), to find a grocery store when there's a fucking restaurant right there. Because THAT makes sense. You make it sound like there's a goddamn grocery store every five blocks, and I dunno, maybe that's true in New York City or some other giganto city, or else in tiny little towns, but here in Portland, grocery stores are a lot more spread out than that. Let's say, for instance, I'm out on 82nd and Stark. The nearest grocery store to there is Hong Phat Market, which is only open until like 9, and I'm nocturnal so I'm often out until midnight or later. Pretty much all the grocery stores in town except for Safeway and Winco close at 11, and I know where only one Safeway is (a long goddamn way from 82nd and Stark, I'll tell you that), and the two Wincos I know of are way out in the fucking boonies. Your classism is matched only by your ignorance, so please stop assaulting me with your ignorant, classist opinions.

I am an extremely loyal friend. 

I was/am an only child. When we become close friends, I consider you part of my family.

I was going to go to law school. When we had our child, I shifted my focus from law school because I didn't want to spend the formative years of my daughters life with my nose in the books. I regret nothing.

I live with my grandmother who has no boundaries. My pajamas are a prison.

My dad doesn't understand the concept of knocking, but that'd be his problem not mine. What do I care if he walks in and unfortunately realises I'm "better off" than he is. Not my ego that gets damaged.
