Sin, I know it will be a while, but can we see the sequel of All-Time Low this year？
I’m not sure if it’s gonna be this year. I would suspect not, since this is what my current WIP list looks like:
Story 1: The story that was supposed to be my Cap-IM RBB for the Madame Masque art but for various RL reasons did not get finished at that time. I want to finish this first because it’s closest to being done, is still sitting there with art, et cetera. Currently 113,000 words, just starting chapter 5 out of 6. (I should mention that these chapters are about 20,000-30,000 words long.)
Story 2: The sequel to the Star Trek AU, that I was supposed to take a short break on to write RBB, and then... stuff happened. I owe this to a charity auction so I am definitely, definitely finishing this one, and I would like to finish it before embarking on anything else long. Currently 100,000 words, nearly done with chapter 3 out of 6. (Chapters are about the same length as the previous WIP.) So this one is going to be longer.
I also owe a charity auction a co-written story with Kiyaar, and right now I have no idea what that’s going to be but at least it’s gonna be shorter.
So I might write some shorter fic while I’m working on these, but I don’t want to start anything else long and involved (which is what that sequel would be) until I finish both of these, and at this point I have about ten longfics alone on my ideas list, and that’s just the long ones. So it’s also competing for attention in my brain with a bunch of other stories (the D/s AU I mentioned, an early-canon identity porn time-travel story, and so on) and I have to figure out which of all of these I’m writing after I finish the Madame Masque story and the Trek AU.
Specifically as regards All Time Low, my brain is kind of conceiving of it as a series, and I guess most of the entries would be shorter... but it definitely ends with one giant hurt/comfort story, so it goes on the longfic list.
Also, summer is my slow writing season for various reasons, so I’m not making a whole lot of fic progress right now. Like, I already know I’m skipping the Big Bang this year because I want to finish these existing stories and... it’s going pretty slowly.
